Not sure if he and Alison were married, but I remembered when their baby Jake died, and Alison threw herself under a truck. It was so tragic. Even if the writers hadn`t known about it.....Michael/Kevin would have remembered. Sally would have remembered too. In fact most of them would have remembered....Sophie, Rita, Norris, Emily, the McDonalds.

I must confess I watched it last night to see if the stunts were good. Wow it was embarrassing. When one of the explosions happened, the characters didn`t react to the explosion til about 3 seconds later. I don`t know if that was bad editing or bad acting. Then there were the similarities between the 2010 tram crash and the Victoria flat fire.
2010 Ken Barlow: Peter`s in there 2015 Yasmeen - Kal`s in there Both said with as much emotion as 'it`s raining outside'
2010 John Stape kills Joy Fishwick and then makes it look as if she died in the explosion. 2015 Looks like Maddy carks it after trying to expose Jenny.

Lets hope Jabba the Hat will leave after the live episode this year like he did with Emmerdale`s live episode in 2012. Once Corrie gets a new producer, hopefully he/she will have the guts not to renew prawns contract next year.

sooty.....I truly hope Laurel doesn`t try and get back with Ashley. I love Ashley and Harriet together....they make a lovely couple. After everything Laurel has put Ashley though the past few years, she doesn`t deserve him.

sooty....hopefully with Corrie only winning one award - it will make the Granada bosses rethink Jabba the Hat as producer. Under his reign, Corrie are losing fans in droves (me included)

I`m so happy Adam got the awards he so richly deserved. he has been overlooked for years. I hope he got a standing ovation.
I am also thrilled Amelia got the award for best young performance. I`ve loved little April from Emmerdale since her first appearance. She`s a little darling, and a good actress for someone so young.
If there are any disappointments, it was Ryan Hawley (Robert Sugden) didn`t get best villain. But he was up against some stiff competition.

I was absolutely heartbroken what Laurel did last night. I will never think of her the same way again. Laurel never used to be this devious and uncaring. Even if Laurel gets clean and never touches another drop of alcohol, Marlon will never trust her again. It wouldn`t surprise me if Ashley sues her for full custody. I was also in tears at what Cain was telling Marlon last night on the bridge where Shadrack died. I had no idea Shadrack was such a bully. Poor Cain - what an awful childhood he had. I`m wondering if Laurel is one of the characters being killed off this summer. What does he have to look forward to? Her best friend in Dubai, severing any friendship she had with Rhona at the nasty way she treated her - not to mention putting Leo in danger. Her Dad is furious with her, her husband not wanting a bar of her anymore, no job, estranged from Arthur, and Ashley in a new relationship of his own. Laurel is her own worst enemy, and I don`t feel any sympathy for her.

I hope Craig Charles will be back. I like Lloyd. Maybe Lloyd and Andrea will leave together....she says hopefully There seems to be rather a lot of characters leaving/taking a break this year. I hope Carla Conner won`t be gone long.

Agreed wholeheartedly sooty. I don`t think Marlon and Laural's marriage can survive this. Neither Doug, Bob or Marlon will be able to trust Laurel being around the kids anymore....especially now that the child protection agency has been informed. It may be only a matter of time before Marlon finds out about April being in hospital because of Laurel. And I doubt if he`ll ever forgive her for that.
How cruel of Ali blaming Dan for Sean`s accident. Banging on about not being able to say no to Sean going in the army. She didn`t exactly say no to Dan when she slept with him did she. What a hypocrite.

Fin Barton is morphing into Liam from Benidorm with his baby voice these days. He`s becoming very unpleasant lately. I really used to like him when he first arrived. But ever since he stole Declans identity to go to a casino to meet that casino worker - I`ve gone right off him.

LOL I noticed last night sooty. He`s a fine young man...I`ve always liked Jacob (and the name too). He always seems to have a good sense of right or wrong - unlike bratty Noah who he sometimes hangs out with.

This is the first time I have ever given up on Corrie after watching for many years since I was a little girl. The first Corrie episode I ever remember was the coach crash. I looked it up and I believe it was 1971 when it first went to colour. We didn`t have our colour telly til 1972. Anyway I used to watch it because I used to sneak downstairs when I should have been in bed. Some evenings my Mother had an evening job washing dishes, and my Dad usually had a snooze before he picked up my Mother from work. I used to sneak downstairs, and just peak through a slightly opened door. I had a good line of vision where I could see the telly, and the couch where my Dad was snoozing LOL. As soon as it finished I sneaked back upstairs. After about a year of doing this, I`m sure my Dad must have twigged what I was doing. And he used to leave the door open a bit more. Then when I was about 8 or 9 we had a later bed time, and we had to be in our nighties watching it, and then "straight up the wooden hill to gwhelli (bed) when the credits started rolling.

So true Pearly. Yesterday I had a look at some spoilers for April, and something in me just snapped. I thought to myself "Why am I watching this drivel if I don`t enjoy it anymore"? I`ll probably reconsider when SB leaves though. But I have to admit it is like weaning myself off a drug....just not this SB drug though. I`ll still continue to watch the old ones on YouTube. Maybe deep down that`s what really clinched my decision to quit cold turkey. The fact that the eps from 1977 are far superior in writing and acting compared to now. The 2015 are just awful. .

Well, I`ve finally done it. I`ve joined the ranks of Pats and Nick (and Paul?) and finally gave up on Corrie altogether. I won`t be watching again til that pig Blackburn has gone. He has really ruined Corrie, and I`ll never forgive him for it. It does feel surprisingly liberating I have to admit.

Agreed to all of the above sooty. I hate how Rachel is turning into a real nagging harpy. And to set up Belle making her think Archie got hold of her pills was despicable. I used to feel sorry for Rachel when Charity set her up. Now I can`t wait til Emma comes back off maternity leave so she can show Rachel some real Dingle justice.

It made me so uncomfortable the way Doug showed Laurel her underwear where she had soaked them during her drunken binge. If Doug had washed those clothes, he would have seen that bottle of voddy that Laurel kept there. When Marlon and the kids came back from that wedding, once again Laurel showed her favouritism towards the kids by hugging Arthur and completely ignoring April. I`m sure she blames April for everything since she first appeared. The poor little mite Doug should really tell Marlon that April had to go to hospital because of drinking Laurels vodka and orange drink. Charlotte Bellamy is really doing a fantastic job. I`ve always said that I measure a good actor by how they act when drunk and how they cry. Charlotte does both tremendously.

Congratulations Charlotte and Mungo. I didn`t know Charlotte had 3 kids. I thought she only had one. It would be nice if Charlotte took some time off for her honeymoon. Her character Laurel is really ticking me off lately with all that drinking.
