I heard on the Radio that Craig Charles will return to Corrie in the new year as Lloyd.

Well Lloyd wasnt a bad character - the best of a bad bunch of characters (Diggory, Keith, Nathan) introduced last year id say!

Well you didnt miss much with Diggory and Nathan. No wonder they were written out after a year.

Nathan was there when I was still watching. Diggory had been in a few but I don't think was a regular at that time. I've seen Craig Charles in other things though and he's not so great.

Lloyd is OK as a character - but not great. They could probably have done a lot more with the character and made him more interesting, but that's unlikely now that the actor playing him has proved himself to be unreliable.
They can't keep making allowances for him to flounce of to the Priory or whatever - it's a job like any other, and he has to be efficient or get sacked.
Hopefully, now he's had a to sort himself out he'll knuckle down and stay off the gear.

He was still given a contract so that makes him a regular.
Pearly I agree about Craig Charles. This isn't the first problem they've had with him and somehow I can't see it being the last.
