Maybe a thread should be started, devoted to Blanche's brilliant one-liners?
Last night's was a prime example...
Blanche (about Tracy) - 'She's a cow, but she's our cow'.

Yes, she's great. She said something last week about her preference for court cases over funerals for entertainment value, but I can't remember the exact quote.

it was something about 'you always know the outcome of funerals' their dead and they get buried..but in a court case you never know whats going to happen'
I love Blanche
I remember when Liz was staying with them and she had got dressed up for a night out..she came in,in her going out outfit and said 'how do i look?' and Blanche replied 'Like a prostitute' then looked round at the others ans said...'well you are all thinking it'

Some more of Blanche's gems...
Blanche about Ray's DIY coffin.
" You won't catch me goin to meet me maker in a flat-pack."
Blanche on Deirdre.
"Good looks are a curse Deirdre - you and Ken should think yourselves lucky!"
Blanche on funerals.
"I prefer funerals to weddings. There's much less chance of being disappointed."
"It were rubbish! Not one decent hymm - all pop songs!"
Blanche trying on her sun glasses.
" There's a fine line between Jackie Onassis and Roy Orbison"
Blanche, about her hip operation.
" Tracey's got a Morrocan kidney, why can't I have a Polish hip? "
Blanche's comment following Charlie and Shelley's argument as they were in front of the vicar at their 'wedding'.
" I see they wrote their own vows. "

She's hilarious
does anyone remember her when she was in it full time previously? 1974-1976?
then she popped back occasionally (Deirdre & Kens first wedding) (Traceys wedding)etc....
she was a very blousy corsetmaker..and ran off with Bookie Dave Smith to open a country club

Blanche to Emily last night at Amy's party, after Emily had said:- 'I wish I was that age again'.
'Mmmm...rickets, TB, and ration books.'

Here's one I remember from a while back, when Blanche was moaning about the Baldwins turning up at her house:
'When I let out number 7, I thought it were to a single man - not the Von Trapp family!'

LOL! I remember that. I wonder if Blanche does still own Number 7 and Jamie rents if from her? It was never mentioned that she sold it to the Baldwins.

Blanche sold it to the same people who bought number 11 or something to raise money for her hip replacement and they rent it out.

Not half...takes you back to the old days when Mr Wormold owned a few of the houses and rented them out..Elsie's at number 11 being one and he bought number 7 which was Harry Hewitts then that collapsed with subsidence !!
