From Corrieblog
I found this a couple of days ago, and I thought I would put it up.
Antony Cotton wowed the audience on Soapstar Superstar t’other night with his rendition of the Barry Manilow hit Copacabana. Wondered how the song would translate to the current murder storyline in Coronation Street. So, swap your clogs for your beach shoes and sing along to the tune of Copacabana…
Her name was Tracy, she was a Barlow with yellow feathers in her hair and a dress cut down to there she was a psycho, a bit goo-ga-ga and while she tried to be a star she went a bit too far she caved in Charlie’s head, and now he’s dead they were daft and they had no morals who could ask for more?
At the Rovers (RO!) Rovers-cabana (Rovers-cabana) the hottest spot north in Manchester (here) at the Rovers (RO!) Rovers-cabana makeup and fashion were Tracy’s real passion At the Rovers.... they fell in love
His name was Charlie, he was a builder he was escorted to his chair, he saw Tracy lapdance there and when she finished, he called her over (OI!) but Tracy went a bit too far Charlie sailed across the bar and then the statue flew, Charlie’s head smashed in two there was blood and now the cops ask just who killed who?
;D
