Perhaps that should be changed to Peter, Peter, Peter. I am a longtime lurker and had to join to say that Peter is clearly everything you have all accused Rob of being. Both have an enormous chip on their shoulder regarding pantomime. Doing a reality TV show is a step down but Peter will probably consider that a step up. Anything as long as it isn't pantomime. In fact you could also say joining a soap is a step down since it's hardly the high-level of drama the channels used to make and many actors join just to boost their profile and get money. Considering Rob started out a model and had no acting experience before his first role he really should drop his attitude. If he wasn't a snob he would be grateful for any work coming his way when he leaves, be it pantomine or even a stint at Butlins. It's work which is all serious actors care about. Rob will never be taken seriously as an actor until he starts behaving like one. He is an insult to the acting profession.

And Peter do grow up. I have read many disagreements on here. They have been friendly and made me laugh. You, due to your chip, turned this thread into an argument by accusing those who didn't agree with you of envy when you could have put your opinion across politely explaining why you disagree and had a mature discussion. Are you Rob in disguise? Is that why you spout your pathetic vitriol defending something who believes they're better than the rest of the acting profession?

I defend what i say and stick by it. It's all to easy to just agree with everyone, the only thing I've said that could be mildly taken the wrong way was about Patsy loving the sound of her own voice which in the years I've been here (And I've been here longer than you think - Member, guest, member.) I've come to see is quite true.

If someone quotes "Did you even bother to read...", which could be taken as aggressive, of course you're going to get defensive when your they're not taking what you're saying into context. And i have read every post in this thread.

I really couldn't care less what you think stratford. There are people here who do think they're better than writers, actors, and think they can do such a better job, writing they're crappy fan-fics. I take Coronation Street just as it is, a soap opera, no more no less. But a number of people here need to take a reality check and are full of their own self-importance, disappearing up their own assholes.

If i had ignored everyone else's comments, i wouldn't have accounted for what i said about Panto being less hard wor as others (Not patsy) presented.

This is typical troll behaviour. I've seen it on other forums. Nice as pie as long as people agree. Post the opposite and they wreck threads by being argumentative, twist things, are evasive and blame others for their behaviour. They never debate rationally. I saw a signature on another forum which read "Don't Feed The Trolls." How very true and until Peter behaves like a grown-up I feel no one should respond to his posts. I realise I haven't been here long enough to tell you what to do but he clearly hates it so much here yet stays. Why? To cause trouble. That much is obvious from this thread. Disagreeing is one thing. His bile is another while not explaining why or being civil yet continually being abusive towards members. I would like to thank him for bringing me out of lurkdom. Everyone else here seem like nice friendly people who, unlike Peter, are far from being up their own backsides.

I'm still waiting for his list of people on this forum with superior attitudes. I have been reading this forum a long time and haven't seen any. The only people I see writing are those who are friendly towards each other and like a laugh. You do get the odd one or two but they don't usually last long. It's patently obvious he is referring to Patsy since she has written the most fan fiction and made the most posts. I don't know her like you do but from reading what she's posted (not her fan fiction as I'm not interested in that) she's no worse than anyone else. I have enjoyed the rapport you all have with each other and believe if she were as bad as he's trying to claim no one would post at all.

Still no sign of Peter's list or Peter. Maybe stratford's right about him being a troll. I watched them ruin the Hunt For Maddy board on the Mirror forum until one day the whole lot went and all mention of Maddy and later Shannon Matthews was banned from the rest of it. They had no real opinion, just started rows to kill threads. Anyone not agreeing with then was called a paedophile. Members went round in circles trying to have a proper discussion because they'd just hurl insults. Well that's just what Peter did so I applaud stratford for showing Peter for what he is. He gave him every opportunity to be civil and tell us his reasons for agreeing with Rob and why panto was a step down. Instead he chose to be insulting. Stratford's right. What IS he doing here if he hates it? Maybe Peter would like to tell us that too if he's not a troll and politely.

Corrie Girl I understand your reasoning. Some people get too big for their boots when they become famous. I have encountered many in my job and they are immensely unpopular in all aspects of the business. It is fans who put someone where they are and more importantly keep them there. Too many forgot that. There are those who refuse point blank to have anything to do with whatever made their name and gained them fans in the first place. As far as they're concerned they're famous now and/or have won awards so don't need them or the past. Prawn Gully is one deluded man and does himself no favours.

Despite what a certain member says, even if the last few posts were considered troll like, if I was here just to cause trouble would I have not done so already? Both before now and when i first joined up - my first account. The action of recent do not make me a troll in general.

I apologise about the fan-fic, stuff that was ranting for the sake or ranting I admit that, and in general I apologise singularly to Patsy. I did think she was a big girl and could fight her own battles though, obviously I was wrong.


I'm not going to make lists just for the sake of some brown-noser, and I don't apologise that I don't particularly like everyone here and stick to what I said about certain people here being kiss-ups. And no I don't mean kiss-ups for agree with one, two or several people agreeing with each other, but in general. I don't actually hate it here, I've just never let my personal feelings about 4 or 5 members interfere with my posts or get in the way, I'd rather just ignore them.
