That was so sad tonight, especially when Michelle arrived at the hospital and realised he was gone and it was too late to make her peace. Poor Carla, Liam and Michelle

Yes - good episode, and pretty convincing acting from all concerned.
...and as always with Corrie, we had a nice contrast/change of scene with the ghastly David starting to weave yet another of his webs of deceit.
Have never been totally convinced by Jack P Shepherd's acting skills, but I admit that he can't be too bad if he can make me detest David as much as I do!
I know that in this supposedly pc world, hitting children is a big no-no, but in his case I'd happily risk the consequences!

Hit David? He should have been jailed for the 'birthday card' freakery - not to mention perjuring himself for an outside sniff of a chance of getting hold of Tracy Barlow. Hitting's too good for the little horror.

It was a good episode. Very sad for the Connor clan. I'll miss Paul, he was a good character.

I won't miss him much - he was a two-faced lying scumbag.
List of reasons: He let a dead man take the blame for his drunk driving, covered up Kasia's death in Carla's sweat shop, conned Steve over the golf bets, had a prostitute habit, dies while kidnapping someone..... not a nice man!

Very good points PQ. I could never take to Paul Conner at all, I always prefered Liam. As for David, again I`m in total agreement with you PQ. He`s a detestable little snot, and he should be in borstal. I can`t believe this is the same kid who I cried with when he was sobbing into his bunny Barneys fur when Gail and Martin got divorced.Kudos to Jack P Shephard for his acting skills, otherwise I wouldn`t find the kid so detestable.

Cant help feeling a bit sorry for Paul though - he was more stupid than evil I think and didnt deserve to die like that. -
Drink driving was stupid and dangerous. And the reasons he covered up Dean and Kazia's deaths was to protect himself (ok a terrible thing to do but I can see why he did it as he was scared of going to prison or that Carla would be in trouble in the case of Kazia's death). As for conning Steve well I cant help feeling Steve deserved that! He is so smug he needed to be put in his place IMO. All in all I dont think he was all bad. Certainly not as bad as Charlie, Tracy or David lol.

Yep - that's why they have laws against those things: so d1ckheads like him don't go unpunished.

I agree with you Maddie, he was a great character. Him and Carla made a great couple. Shame he left so soon.

Glad its not just me! I can't believe that they're getting someone in to seduce Carla so soon after I mean come on isn't she meant to be devastated that he's died? Hmm . . .
