I think the time has come for the scriptwriters to back pedal on this character.
While his evilness has been wonderful to behold, there has to come a day when much more is now overkill.
When he appears on screen I am now waiting for him to perform yet another evil act, and it gets a bit wearing.
There is no more really he can do that will surprise us anymore. Once Sarah and Bethany depart, does this mean his evil tricks will be heaped upon Gail again. Please give us a rest. Does anyone agree ? or do you want to see David permanently wicked.

It has got to be resolved eventually...it would be ridiculous him just carrying on being evil....he needs to be seen to eventually get his come uppance OR to deal with it by seeing counsellors etc...

I`d like to see it come to a head where he has a complete breakdown. Jack P Shepherd is a great actor and if anyone can pull off a heart wrenching performance - he can. He might even get an award for it next year.... but only if Jonathan Harvey writes that episode. He knows Davids character better than anyone. But lately this constant evilness and Gail pandering to his every whim it`s like she`s rewarding him and it`s getting old very fast.

There was a letter in the Mirror on Friday complaining about too much David and saying they weren't going to watch any more.

Well I think they need to move the storyline forward - either him getting charged by the police or taking it down the mental health route.

But they would make more of a story of it if it went down the mental health route - death happens so often in soaps.

They wouldn't do it properly. Look at the Alzheimer's. Couple of weeks he'll be all sorted.

They had a chance with that. They never do issues properly so shouldn't do them at all.

Quite agree - it's been great up to now, but enough's enough.
