After these threads on EE and Emmerdale, I thought I'd start one here.
Barbara Knox quits (I can be hopeful after years of broken promises)
Sean and Marcus will split up
Norris yet again does something furtive Reet and Emily MUST find out about
Umpteen love triangles they say in press releases will 'have the nation gripped'
Michael Grade adds more episodes thus reducing the ratings to 5 million

Umpteen scenes of David being the devil child and Gail will forgive him again.
Rosie will set her sights on someone new to foll around with and break up someone elses relationship or marriage
I forsee 2008 being a rehash of 2007

Corrie has been good during 2007 so I have high hopes for 2008.
We already know Vera, Jamie and Violet are leaving. Violet and Jamie will probabaly run off together after she has the baby and Sean will be devastated. Lots of scenes of him feeling sorry for himself I expect.
Liam and Maria are due to get married in Feb but I bet the wedding wont go ahead.
Liam and Carla will get together sometime during 2008 and probabaly be together next Christmas.

I agree Jez - apart from slightly too much of Devil Child, I've really enjoyed Corrie this year, and it can't have been too bad, as my wife has watched a lot more of it than usual, and she's not really a fan.

I agree Jez - apart from slightly too much of Devil Child, I've really enjoyed Corrie this year, and it can't have been too bad, as my wife has watched a lot more of it than usual, and she's not really a fan. Some of the episodes in the summer were a bit below average and the Christmas Day episode could have been better but overall its been a good year IMO. Charlie's murder right through to the trial was good, all the storylines the Connors have had (from Liam telling Michelle the truth about Dean's death right, the death at the factory, Liam/Leanne/Paul, Paul's death, Carla/Liam/Maria, and now Michelle and her son) have been excellent. I even enjoyed most of the Claire/Casey storyline which was well done even after they had to rewrite a lot of it. Agreed there has been too much David and the Platts again this year but that storyline has mainly been ok in parts. |

Actually I agree...I think jason and becky would be good together..she would bring a bit of fun into his life and he would bring a bit of romance and stability into hers
