This may well have been talked about before, but there are some things I've noticed about Corrie that just aren't right :
You can always get a seat at a free table in the Rovers’ Return, without any bother at all. At no other pub in the entire country is this the case.
People take jobs in Weatherfield without ever discussing wages, hours of work, or any terms & conditions. A typical Corrie job interview goes: “I ‘ear you’re lookin’ for someone to ‘elp out in t’ caff?” “That’s right.” “Well I could do it.”. “Start Moonday then”.
The Weatherfield bus service is the most reliable on the planet. You can always just hop on a bus, no matter when or where you need to go, without ever waiting more than 45 seconds. If you want the driver to wait while you finish a conversation or say goodbye - no matter how long, he will always do so - and none of the other passengers on the bus will complain.
Any more ?

Considering Dev is supposed to have 7 shops, then why is he always in the Coronation Street one? Do the chips in Coronation St have magical powers? Once you buy them you can eat them straight away without having to blow on them first. Although that seems to happen with most hot food - not just chips. Doesn`t the Rovers serve anything but hot pot? In the changing way of pub food, you`d think there`d be more of a choice. And for me the most irritating of all............. people moan all the time about having no money (Janice, Kelly etc), yet they will always have money for drinks in the Rovers or for a meal at Roys Rolls.

Good points there, Billy. They also find somewhere to live easily and can afford the rent, especially those in low paid jobs. Usually no experience needed either when they get jobs.

I remember when Sean suddenly announced he had got a job bingo calling, there was no previous mention of interviews or having to wait to hear...then when the storyline finished no mention of him leaving the bingo
And i don't think therer has been any qualified mechanics working at the garage...Brian took Kevin on because he was 'good with motors' then Kevin took Tyrone on because he was 'Good with motors'...no mention of qualifications etc..

I seem to recall that some people caused a ruccus at the bingo hall and Sean lost his job over it. If this tired old memory serves, it was Vera who caused Sean to lose his job.

Baldwin's Casuals did too. Mind, big as it was inside, it was a more realistic set than the journey to the centre of the earth Tardis now.

The old factory was big but really we only saw the main room and Baldwin's office, and then upstairs a few offices where Baldwin also used to work and the one where Ernie got shot. They also referred to "packing" several times but I dont think we ever saw that.
Ivy and the girls only used to have a pie and a light bottle of ale or half a shandy I think. Now its ridiculous, they must be drinking pints! lol

We also saw delivery vans. That forecourt now is a health hazard.

I still think the biggest problem in terms of a realism deficit is the fact that there is never any trouble in anybody finding a seat in t'Rover's.
I go to to pubs, and that happens once in a purple moon.

I can't comment on that as I don't go to pubs as a rule. Bars in hotels and cruise ships yes and it's a bastard trying to find a seat and get served unless it's during the day.
