This has just started on Channel 5.
Hugh Lawrie plays a rude, abrasive, workshy Doctor, who loves diagnosing weird and wonderful diseases, but can't stand the patients with them. ;D
This has all the signs of being a success, and on first showing, I like it.
A familiar face playing another Dr in this is Jesse Spencer, who played Billy Kennedy in Neighbours.

I saw a bit of it, and it looks quite good. Sadly I won't be watching it because I hate medical dramas... too much of a hypochondriac Apparently it has turned Hugh Laurie into a sex symbol in America... well I've thought he was darn sexy for a few years now ;D

I've watched a few episodes of it now and i think i quite like it. I always love shows where there is a mystery and you watch it unravel throughout the episode. It makes it a bit different when the mystery is a disease! House himself does make me laugh when he won't actually talk or see the patient. I was a unsure of whether Laurie would pull off an American accent but he has. I still think of him with a British accent, though. ;D

I think he is excellent in this, quite inspired casting . He has come a long way since the Fry and Lawrie days

I t seems Hugh Lawrie is up for an 'Emmy' for his role as Dr Greg House.

Don't think he won the emmy. I'm still really enjoying this programme, one of my favourites I think. House's remarks always make me LOL.

I think the writers are brilliant with his part. I have been loving his battles with Vogler. Always knew House would win, ;D

I haven't watched it for the past 3 weeks and really miss it! My mom has taped it for me though, I just haven't got round to going to get it. How did House get rid of Vogler in the end, then?

In the end. ( And after much behind the scene manipulation by Volgar ) it came to a straight vote between House and moneybags Volgar. In the end everybodies consciences pricked them, and they voted Volgar out. But House has not forgiven Chase for spying on him, and is giving him a hard time. And he talked Cameron into coming back, her condition was he took her on a proper date.

I watched the last 3 weeks of House yesterday so I''ve caught up now. I think I missed the episode between when Vogler told House to sack one of his duckings and when House had to make that speech. What a weird way to say you'll come back- ask for a date from your boss! I like Cameron but I really don't understand her sometimes.

The episode tonight looks good and I'm sure it had won an award or something, its that good. From the previews at the end of last week's episode it looks like House's ex has returned and it is him who is the patient (in flashbacks though, to when he had something with with his leg).

Excellent episode, and now we know what happened to his leg. Sadly, it is the last episode of the first series next week.

The third series starts this Thursday.
Also a new series called Shark immediately after. It looks quite good.
