Survivor Guatemala: The Mayan Empire coming in September! Hidden deep in the rainforest of Central America, stand the ruins of an ancient civilization that once prospered and then vanished. These were the Maya people and this is the country of Guatemala. These stunning cities of the past stand as clues to a mystery thousands of years old. While Europe was in the dark ages, it was the Maya who harnessed the knowledge of the stars and the celestial movements to create a mystical union of man, nature and the Gods. It was a world of great kings, elaborate ceremonies, fierce battles and even human sacrifice. 18 Survivors will be marooned within this mysterious and rugged terrain. For the first time, the castaways will actually live within the ruins of a vanished civilization and they will be forced to embrace the ancient Maya lifestyle. Join us this fall as the adventure continues with Survivor: Guatemala, The Mayan Empire.

And for those like me who need a Jeff Probst fix before September, OLN (The Outdoor Life Network), Starts on OLN Sunday July 24th @ 7pm ET/8pm PT Viewers will be able to relive all of the scheming and the physical challenges, the tension-filled Tribal Councils, and the most exciting moments from Survivor history. Who could forget the ornery Susan Hawk’s tirade and the bare-all Richard Hatch in Season I? The first season of Survivor takes 16 contestants from all walks of life and gives them the adventure of a lifetime as they attempt to outwit, outplay and outlast the other castaways on the island of Pulau Tiga, to ultimately win the one million dollar prize. Each castaway must deal with a lack of food shelter and water as they compete in both physical and mental challenges before having to vote off a fellow tribe member. And for those who still needs a Jeffy fix, here ya go ;D

A dear friend on another site is a huge fan of Survivor, The Amazing Race etc, and she mailed me this great bit of info....
Here's a future show that sounds like a reality tv fans delight....coming on Bravo soon. No date as yet: <<Bravo has inked a deal with the international sports marketing company IMG/TWI to bring viewers "Bravo's All-Star Reality Reunion." Today's biggest stars of reality television will dish the stories that everyone wants to hear in a tell-all studio-based reunion. This one-hour special will air in the fourth quarter of 2005. "Bravo is thrilled to partner with IMG/TWI to provide viewers with a window into the biggest, most 'meta' reunion of America's most talked-about reality TV stars," said Lauren Zalaznick, President, Bravo. "Bravo's commitment to showcasing personalities who have made a mark in entertainment and pop culture is the driving force behind this new reality reunion program." "We are excited to join with Bravo to bring together the largest gathering of reality stars on one stage," said Executive Producer, Robert Horowitz. "The opportunity to unite cast members with other stars from different show cycles will provide entertaining and emotional exchanges. There clearly are unsettled storylines which we hope to raise, while hopefully getting answers to unresolved issues." More than 50 reality TV stars will dish out all the dirt from 20 reality shows including "The Amazing Race," "American Idol," "The Apprentice," "Average Joe," "The Bachelor," "Big Brother," "For Love or Money," "The Joe Schmo Show," "Last Comic Standing," "Project Runway," "The Real World," "Showbiz Moms & Dads," "Survivor," and "Temptation Island," among others. >>

Great, another Survivor fan on the boards. I can't believe this is the 11th one either. I still remember sitting down to watch the first one. I remember telling my husband, I don't think I'll like this show, but you watch it. Of course after a few episodes I was hooked!

Hooray another fan *click* Meet the new Survivors...I like the look of them. www.cbs.com/primetime/survivor11/Let it be on record I want Jamie to win....just coz he shares the same first name as my oldest son. But that could change if Jamie turns out to be an a-hole like Johnny (Un) Fairplay from the Pearl Islands ;D

Wow, wasn't that a first great show!! I think that was the toughest first start yet. Looks like they are going to have it rough this season. How great to see Stephanie and Bobbi-John. Good job that one team had a nurse on their team. Can't wait till next weeks.

Its great to have Survivor back. Nice that CBS could up the budget for Jeffs shirts too - much more preferable to the safari type shirts he had last season ;D I`m thrilled that Steph is back...and on a winning team for a change lol I taped it last night as we were at our sons football game (Jamies team won 64-0 yayy), so am going to watch it again this morning. I like to watch it a second time because I`m sure there`s some stuff I missed.

Are you still watching Corriegirl? I have been enjoying it. I am glad they merged last week. I think next weeks looks good. I was so hoping they would have voted off Jamie last week. What a guy! Go STEPH go!!

Yes Deborah, I`m still watching. I wouldn`t miss it for the world. I`m mad that Margaret was booted off. It`s that a-hole Judds fault - he`s such a 'merchant banker'. I`m hoping that Judd gets a cut on his foot that turns septic....Margaret wouldn`t be able to give him first aid then. Judd reminds me of that bully character from Popeye...is it Bluto? Hunky Jeff loves to stir the pot at Tribal Council doesn`t he ;D
Did you watch Trading Spouses last wednesday Deborah? Oh wow that mrs Perin is a piece of work!!!!

I don't like that Judd either. Did you see the scenes for this week? It looks like he is sick in the shelter, then the next morning has not recollection of it. I am wondering if he wins a reward challenge and gets alcohal. Remember when they won the bbq and beer. He was trading hot dogs for beer. I would love to see his alliances turn against him and vote him off!!! Jeff is great at tribal council.

Oh I forgot to add I did not watch Trading Spouses. I am still watching The Amazing Race, The Apprentice and Martha's Apprentice. Are you watching The Apprentice? I thought Donald was great in the board room this week-going on about sex, then asking everyone if they knew Clay was gay. I think he was shocked that everyone, including George and Carolyn knew, but he didn't. I thought that was one of the best board rooms yet and was glad to see Marcus leave.

I would love to see his alliances turn against him and vote him off!!! Jeff is great at tribal council. I believe that`s how the rows started between Judd and Margaret. Margaret mentioned about the missing beers and she said she just drank the root beer, and Judd took offense to it. I`m sure there was more to that row, but a lot of it was edited out. I hope jeff brings it up at the final. When the tribe won the beer, it was obvious that Judd is a bit of a drinker as I don`t think he had any of the food. Judd is a doorman at a club, so no doubt he`s had more than his fair share of booze in the past. He used to look like a neighbour I used to have, and my neighbour was a beligerent drunk too. I`m so hoping that Judd ticks off a lot more people now that the tribes have merged. Is the next person who is voted off the first person on the jury?

I am pretty sure the next person voted off is the first member of the jury. It really makes you wonder about all of the scenes we miss out on seeing and things that are edited.

I just saw some scenes on CBS tonight for this weeks Survivor. It looks like Judd is drunk (again) and he fell off something. Wasn`t sure if it was during a challenge or not. LOL Margaret won`t be there to tend to his boo-boos ;D I sense more backlash from last weeks TC involving Jamie and Bobby-Jon. Ooh Jeff loves to stir it doesn`t he lol
