The new Simpson season starts September 11th. I think there is a new Family Guy and American Dad the same night too - unless the new football season over runs

Survivor 11 - Guatamala starts Thursday September 15th on CBS
Nip/Tuck season 3 starts September 20th on F/X
ER starts its new season September 22nd at 10pm on NBC

"The Amazing Race," Sept. 27: CBS finally unveils the eagerly anticipated new family version of the show. Teams will be composed of four relatives, and not all teams include children. But as USA Today reported, "half of the teams have at least one contestant younger than 18, and one Virginia family includes brothers ages 11 and eight."

Deborah...I know you`re a fan of TAR. Are you going to watch it?

I must admit. Of all the shows this season, it`s Survivor and Nip/Tuck I`m looking forward to the most.

Tomorrow night the new season of the OC starts for me. I became a big fan last season and can't wait to see tomorrow's show.

Then it will be Survivor, followedby the TAR the week after. The Apprentice starts the same week as well. (I think thats what I read). The new "Martha Apprentice" starts then as well. Of course I will have to take a look at that one.

So exciting!!!

What about the new shows starting this season? I've heard a lot about the following:

PRISON BREAK

Many people saying it has many elements of 24 and Lost. Five have already snapped it up, as have UKTV, well before it started in the US.

INVASION

ABC (who show DH & Lost) are the network showing this new show. Set around a small community it tells the story of picking up the pieces after a hurricane. But this is no ordinary hurricane. Strange things are happening in this community since the hurricane - why?

REUNION

A unique new concept, similiar to that of 24. Five high school friends gather for the funeral of one of their own, who was murdered. But before we find out who it was the action goes back 20 years to their last year in high school. Then over the following 20 episodes, 20 years pass by. It starts in 1986 in episode 1, then '87 in episode 2 and so on.

COMMANDER IN CHIEF

A series set around the trials and tribulations of the first First Lady to take the top job. Geena Davies plays Mackenzie Allen a married mother of three. It already has the buzz of Desperate Housewives, but will it have the same audience figures? And can it compete with the West Wing?

Reunion is the one that I really, really think I will enjoy. Prison Break might be good (last year I said how can they set a series called on a desert island for more than one season, this year I'm wondering how they can have a series about breaking out of a prison lasting for a whole 22 episodes)

I haven`t watched any of those eithne, and don`t think I will either.
Cannot wait to watch Nip/Tuck...I am counting the hours. 30+ and counting down ;D

I couldn't believe last night I had 3 shows I wanted to watch all on at the same time. Good job I have 2 VCR's so could tape 2 and watch 1. We watched Survivor and taped the OC and Joey.

Yes we do, but I do not watch them.

I did watch a new show last night called Three Wishes with Amy Grant. Each week she goes to a different town, where people get to write down a wish. Three big ones are then picked, plus a few smaller ones. Well, did I cry-seemed from the beginning of the show to the end! Can't wait till next weeks.

I was wondering what Amazing Race would be like 'family edition', but I really enjoyed last weeks show. Great seeing Drew and Kevin at the Frank stand-hope they are in it more! It was in the paper the other day that the show was spotted filming in Toronto in July. Apparently they were at Union Station and the CN tower.

Last week when my NZ friend came to visit me, he bought me an Amazing Race hat that he picked up at the CBS store in NY. Hubby wants it, but I keep saying no. LOL


The Apprentice is good so far. I like how they are making the board room sessions longer this season. Haven't picked out who I want to win yet. Not sure yet about Martha's Apprentice-I have been watching, but keep comparing it to Donalds.

Oh wow I wept buckets...buckets. Especially that precious little boy who had leakemia and he got his fave super hero Spiderman to appear at his Birthday party. I used half a box of Kleenex just for that scene.
I didn`t watch the show where they went to New orleans. After seeing enough of the devestation on the news, it would have been heartbreaking to watch it with the threee wishes.
It was nice to see that hunky guy Eric on there. I was a fan of his when he appeared on Clean Sweep on TLC, but am even more of a fan now.....he`s wonderful. And he`s so wonderful and natural being around kids too. That`s something no one can fake.

Yeah, another show we both like!!

I haven't seen the spiderman one yet, must be the show I have taped. Will wait till Friday night when I am home alone! I'll have my kleenex ready.

We watched the 2 hours on Friday with the New Orleans family. Eric was involved in that story. After getting back from New Orleans he had to call home and talk to his two young children, he didn't care how late it was. He really is a wonderful hunk and very caring! I had not seen him before this show.

I hope you saw it Deborah.... it was so awe inspiring wth that lovely girl who gave to others rather than herself.
I didn`t watch the one last night, I can`t remember how or why I missed it.
