Maybe they will repeat FA but somehow I doubt it!

I thought one of the reasons why they ditched FA was partly to fund these channels and partly to invest in new British drama. FA cost £10m a year to make, which would be a lot for Five.
Anyway, back to Prison Break and I saw the first 3 episodes, but of course missed the fourth last Monday night.
I loved it. The high level corruption is similiar to 24, and there is so much tension. I'm also loving the romance building between Wentworth's character and the Doctor. Wow! I wonder what they can do though when it comes to breaking out of prison. If they do break out then how can they have a second series? I thought the same with Lost though - and look at that!

I thought that too but most of FIVE's popular programmes are imports.
I missed episode 4 as well - i'll try and catch it episode 5 on Monday

I have read that William Fichtner ( who played Sheriff Tom Underlay out of Invasion ) is going to be in the next series.

It started last night here in Ireland - replacing Desperate Housewives. I saw the opening episode before so it was good to see it again. Hopefully I'll stay with the series this time - although I should with the time slot being so familiar to me.

I would like to see it again as i stopped watching after about 4 episodes due to lack of time. I emailed five and they have the rights to repeat it but have no plans at present to do so

Well when the new channel - Five US - launches they might show it on that. Although they are going to struggle to find programmes for the new channel I think - because the satellite rights to shows like the CSI's aren't owned by them.

That is rather strange! A TV channel that focuses on UKTV is showing American TV? They are aiming to show more American TV though I think - as I read that they were trying to snap up a few future hits at this years previews for all the new American TV shows.

Are you watching it on UKTV Gold or DVD? Would you recommend me getting it on DVD?

I'm watching it on UKTV Gold and on RTE2 (Shown first on RTE2, then a few days later shown on UKTV Gold). It is so good I watch it twice sometimes - and that isn't something I say about a lot of shows!!!
RE: The DVD question - Well it is likely to be repeated again on UKTV Gold from the start - so maybe wait until then. I don't want to tell you to spend £? on a boxset that you only like the first few episodes of.

I always say that I won't watch new programmes starting, but in the end I always end up getting hooked. I said that with Prison Break and with Reunion (an American TV series, which thankfully ended up getting axed) but I'm still hooked on the two of them. I do find that recently it really is US drama I'm watching more than UK (or Irish for that matter).
USTV: DH, Lost, 24, Prison Break, Reunion UKTV: Eastenders (most episodes), Corrie and Emmerdale (the latter two I watch about one episode a week each)

When I was in Gibralter I saw American versions of Prison Break: The Complete Series 1 priced at about £39. It would have been good to get only you would need a DVD player that played American DVD's.
Same prices for American box sets of DH Season 2 and Lost Season 2.

I've seen the first 15 episodes - so I'll see episodes 16-21 this week on UKTV Gold as I'm two weeks behind with the Irish ones.
