Is anyone watching this on ITV2? I don't suppose it helps it clashes with the soaps so I don't suppose a lot of things get watched between 7-8pm.
I admit I'm not watching really on ITV2 either but purely because I've been buying the DVDs. I used to love this series in the 90s, on those dull Saturday nights of rubbish TV. Now with the DVDs I'm falling in love with it all over again. I'm quite surprised that despite the special effects and brick like mobiles (although I think Lois eventually got a flip one) this show has aged really quite well. It could be set now quite easily.
Although marketed as a Superman series over here, it really was quite a lot more and while I myself initially watched it for it being Superman by the end I loved it for the adventure, action, sci-fi, comedy, romance and even the jazz musical score. L&C critics can say all they like but there is one thing it has always had over Smallville, it reached a wider audience. Whether you were 5 or 65, male or female, Sci-Fi fan or romantic, there was something for everyone. Lois & Clark was watched by all different walks of people worldwide, many who perhaps have never watched a Superman thing before or since.
Shame the last season wasn't so good, but that was a lot to do with US network politics and I was still sad it ended on a damp note. I'm surprised though that a decade on it still ranks as one of my all time favourite shows. Not just because of Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher, but I actually was very fond of all of the supporting cast. They made it what it was.

I have watched a couple.
It was nice to see Teri Hatcher looking a normal size.........not scraggy like she is in DH.

Agreed there Sooty. Although in later episodes of L&C she got rather skinny like she is now. Then she got pregnant so got healthy looking for a few years. However I'm starting to notice now that she gets that skeletal look whenever there problems in her personal life.
