Do you like Billie?

Well what do you all think of Billie, the supposedly 'new' witch? I didn't like her at all when she first arrived in the programme, I did not see the point in her appearance in the programme. They had all the girls they needed, and 'The Charmed Ones' were the girls themselves. Now, I could understand them bringing her in to say give a guest appearance or even supporting cast like say Cole was, but they were allowing her to take over from the other girls and that was not right. Even in publicity pictures, she was in them.

I got sort of used to her in the recent episodes, though now I beginning to hate her as she is turning nasty after she has got what she wanted from the sisters. I am going to say No, as I don't think she was needed at all especially in the way they have publiscised her too much. And I have got a feeling that by the time the series has finally ended, I will hate her.

I have to confess I gave up totally with Season 8 when it aired on Living and I don't know which main channel now show it. Billie was part of the problem for me however I had struggled with the stories in Season 7 a bit and really think it should of ended then. I think it would of done if it hadn't been for the fact they didn't want to over invest in new shows knowing the WB only had one more year to broadcast before its merger with UPN to form the CW Network. Hence the WB asked for an extra year of Charmed knowing it was a hit, to see it through its final year.

Yes I agree with you there Lane, Channel 5 have said that they did not buy this new series as no one seemed interested anymore.

I have liked certain parts in this series, though I still cannot figure out why they brough Billie in, and what is worse I have found out, though I do not know yet if it is true that in the last ep screened next week, they show a 'future' clip and Billie is there with the sisters still?

Yes, the series should have ended gracefully in series 7. I certainly do not like Billie at all, as they appear to treat her as the 'main star' and she isn't. Even in posters, of the girls, they have her included her, and I cannot understand why, as she is not a Charmed one.

I think if they do do a Charmed Spin off in the future, they should not do it around her and maybe her sister, but the boys, Wyatt and Chris as the boys have powers now, and they are the off spring to the Charmed ones. And without giving too much away, they are not the only 'off springs'.
