Cancelled & Renewed Shows from 2006-2007 US Season

Okay it is that time of year where the 5 main US networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX & CW) are announcing which of our favourite shows will be returning for 2007-2008 and which have been axed/cancelled or have come to their natural endings. I thought it was a good idea to start a thread on this. Final schedules wil not be confirmed until Mid May, so you may have to wait until then to find out the fate of some of your favourites. However info is already starting to filter through on a number of shows.

I found that the www.thefutoncritic.com/ website seemed to have the most accurate and uptodate info, so it is that site I quote below. A lot of the shows unconfirmed will no doubt be returning such as the CSI's. And there are other shows who no doubt are facing the axe. Shows with a star against them and haven't been confirmed yet are the ones to most worry about.

Really happy to see that Greys Anatomy and Ghost Whisperer are safe, they are the last 2 survivors of my tv show obcession, there were 4 the other 2 were charmed and gilmore girls.

I wonder why Law And Order: Criminal Intent has moved homes. ?

I`m really ticked that 'Show Me The Money' has been axed. It was one of my fave game shows and William Shatner was an excellent game show host.
Out of all those cancelled shows, it was the only show I watched from that list.

It wasn't doing too well on NBC, but was still profitable so they moved it to one of their spin-off channels.

I agree Sooty, though there have been concerns that Vince D'Onofrio wouldn't be returning and then there were going to be in the inclusion of Chris Noth and his new partner to take the heavy load off Vince and his partner Kathryn.

I am glad you said that about NCIS and CSI also Sooty as I had read somewhere that they had been given the go ahead again, though the cast of CSI Crime Scene Investigation was still unclear because of Jorja Fox (Sara Sidle) silly pay rise demands and her demands full stop.

Jorja Fox needs to be careful. The way the series ended on the cliffhanger that it did........she could very easily be killed off. !!

Yes, well I read in an American magazine, that they wanted to show that particular ending, but because they had warned her, she refused to show up and do it, so they had to go to Vegas call Marg Helgenburger (Catherine) to shoot another scene which cost them thousands of dollars.

I remember saying to my other half, that I would have TOLD her to get her butt there and carried on with the specified ending and of course they did. ANd looking at it, even though Sara was shown I believe at the beginning, the body under the car, could have been a double as you only saw her hand.

They think they are indepensible.

I don't think I ever watched any of the cancelled shows, but it is very annoying when a show you like and have devoted time to is axed.

I have just stated watching Jericho, and really enjoyed it.
Then I read in the list it has been cancelled.

What a shame, it was good and different.

awww I just noticed that Trading Spouses has been cancelled. I enjoyed watching that show on Fox.
