Does anyone else watch this detective series?
We've been hooked on it for 2-3 years. It's a detective series of the 'old school' (think Colombo or Harry-O), but very quirky. The hero (if you can call him that) is an ex-police detective, who had a total mental meltdown when his wife was murdered, and now assists the police in a semi-amateur fashion. He suffers from OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), and can't go anywhere without his long-sufering assistant Natalie.
It's funny, sad, and totally unique. Adrian (Monk) is intensely irritating, but at the same time somehow very lovable.
Unfortunately, as is usual with any oddball series, the Beeb have seen fit to tuck it away on BBC2 mid-Saturday afternoon, and it's subject to being postponed/moved without any warning. We always record it, and watch it later.
Give it a try if you like things that are a bit out of the ordinary!
