Be warned the following is a spoiler and is for the last episode.
Brass is shot and fatally injured during negotiations with a gunman in the last episode.
Viewers will have to wait till the new series to see if he survives.

Yes, I have just watched the ending, as I saw the beginning. However, I am a little confused as to why Jim yelled 'Jim' his calling card to the SWAT team, and yet never attempted to jump out of the way when the guy started shooting? I mean he was well in the way of the gunfire from both the gunman and SWAT team and never attempted to move. If it had have been me I would have been jumping for cover! Oh, and by the way, for this episode, we finally see Gil and Sara together. According to the TV mag, there is an interview with Jorja Fox who plays Sara and she is talking about the ep and the relationship between Sara and Grissom. Apparently it says Grissom is relaxing in his bedroom and who should come out of the bathroom in just a little silk dressing gown is Sara! I think this will be spoilt now I will see if I can get the interview and pick out clips in this thread ( Or even the thread of to do with these guys.)

I cannot understand why he didn't move, that was a badly written part, as anyone would have done, being in the line of fire. No, like I said, we see Grissom in his bedroom and then Sara coming out of the bathroom in a silky dressinggown. So no, I don't think it is the last we will see of it, well till the next series anyway.

Where the devil has this relationship sprung from anyway. Up until a couple of episodes ago, there was nothing.
I don't suppose it was a 'Dallas' type dream. !!

Well in one series, maybe the last one - Sara commented on her feelings for him, and asked him out for dinner, but he declined and Sara told him she would not wait for ever. So in that respect they, don't know, planted the seed? Then suddenly, like you mention they sprung it on us the other week with the 'looks' and yet there were no other hints that they had ACTUALLY got it on with each other. They are certainly going to ruin it.

I'd never really thought about Brass diving out the way, but I guess thinking about it, it doesn't make sense that you'd just stand there - unless he didn't think the man would shoot him. If that had been me in there (not much chance of that really!), I'd have been kitted out like a member of bomb disposal - no chance of that bullet getting me ;D I also read an interview with Jorja Fox, and in it she seemed to hint that it was the real thing between Sara and Grissom. I'm still unsure about how a relationship would work, and whether it's a good idea or not, but if they do pursue it, I'd prefer it wasn't the focus of anything, but a background thing. It wouldn't be the first time we've seen personal storylines - Catherine has had a couple - they can work, but they have to be extrememly well done and not detract from the forensics. I thought Grissom and Sara looked quite sweet the other week. I think of all the CSI's, they do make a lovely couple...

Hi there Britchick, exactly, you just would not stand there, and I had taped the ep so I rewound a little to make sure I was getting my facts right, and the more I look at it, the more I am sure it was bad scriptwriting, as he was right in the middle of the action, and no matter what bullet proof vest you are wearing, you DO NOT stand there, and I think the obvious reaction is to dive out the way. It was good that he survived the actual shooting, Iguess he was obvious too, though I still think this is a bad thing with this relationship, it will not work regardless of whether they keep it in the background and focus on the Forensics as I think the viewers will always have it in their minds. Didn't Grissom look a darling in that dressing gown LOL.

Didn't Grissom look a darling in that dressing gown LOL. Never had Grissom down as the flowery dressing gown type. It looked a bit girly ;D I just love Grissom and Sara as a couple, but I wouldn't like to see the focus being them. CSI is a great show because of the strong storylines, and a romantic storyline would probably detract from that. As long as forensics remains the focus, I can live with anything else they throw at us!

Sorry mate, I totally disagree with you there re: Grissom and Sara. I still think Sara will expect favours, and I also think it will be a big mistake with this storyline, even if they do not centralise it. Viewers will know of it, and it will be there in their minds.
Yes, LOL you will have to change your banner BC, gosh I will just get started getting clever with mine, and then I will have to change mine then won't I?

I loved the last episode, poor Brass, I like it when the whole team are together.
Grissom and Sara was a bit of a shocker. I can't wait for season 6 DVD's to come out so I can re-watch the episodes and look for clues. Not sure what I think of them being together I'll wait and see how it impacts season 7 first.

I think you may find there were a few clues along the line . As for them being together, well from what I have learnt about Sara I think she will expect favours from Grissom. I go back to a time when Nick got promoted and she did not and she give Grissom a little earful for it. I just hope they are not going to go off the real reason for the show Forensics. I think for these shows, you don't need the extra mixture of romance.
