What a fantastic final episode to an equally fantastic series. From start to finish the story, action and acting has been incredibly fantastic.

The goriness when Mac was trying to save Don when he tied up his leaking vein, was outstanding. Oh and of course seeing the wonderful chest of Mac swoon wow that was nice! A nice consolation prize!

The whole story was good and I thought it was good the way they picked the mobile phone as the 'detonator'. After all the amount of times people pick up their phones and the amount of times mobiles ring, it was clever they picked that to be the detonator, as it would be hard to pick 'the' one out.

I was that engrossed in the story, I didn't even pick up on the saying the bomber said when that 'army' guy went out at the end.

Again, lovely team work where they were all there for Flack at the end and Mac and Stella stayed.

I also liked the way, Stella was there for Mac, and listened to his story about his Navy days, and when he thanked for her being there and said he was glad, and she replied that's what they did - looked after each other.

I think CSI Vegas should take note of that - a brother-sister relationship - no romance - no need for it.

I liked as well when Mac held Don's hand and asked for him to squeeze and after a second he did so. I was rather hoping they were not going to make Don wake up as after all he had been through, I do not think that would happen, but it is showing that he is hearing things, but his body just needs to heal.

I think CSI NY is still tops of the CSI shows I think.

A fantastic end to a fantastic episode to a fantastic series.

I absolutely agree - it was a fantastic end to what has been a fantastic series. I can't think of a poor episode of CSI:NY yet. The cast are strong and the storylines are brilliant.

Poor Donny Flack - I was a little concerned that my favourite CSI hunk wasn't going to make it into the next series, although that shot of his chest in the morgue nearly made up for all the worry ;D I'm still deciding whether the chests of Mac and Flack can beat Danny in a sweat... maybe I'll have to study the repeats when they're on before I make my final decision ;D

I love the complex relationships between them all - they really look out for each other as a team. We've seen a lot of it in this series - the way Flack was there for Stella after she was attacked, Mac there for Danny when his brother was beaten up, Stella was there for Mac after Flack got hurt.

Exactly, you could not fault this series at all, the scripts were outstanding as were the acting, and it was just by the best CSI at the moment (And I have just watched the ending of CSI Miami too)

LOL, you watch the eps again BC ( A Good reason to see the chests!) I like Mac and Flack and Danny is a third for me, though I do like Mac the best and well, the scene of his chest, Swoon!

Again exactly, they all look out for one another, exactly what you said regarding when Stella was attacked and so on, and her and Mac are always there for one another, like brother and sister, that is the sort of the relationship that the other CSI shows should be focusing on not the romance. CSI NY work as a TEAM and nothing more, they are there for each other as collegues and friends. The way Mac fought to save Don's life and then sat there as he was fighting for it and held his hand and then told him he was going to help him get through it.

Even when Aiden was murdered, they still fought for her name and dignity.

I also think that Gary Sinise has proven himself as both a producer and also as a writer as one of the eps was written by himself.

The series (series 2 part 1) is coming out on 17th July, mine is already ordered.

I cannot wait for the next series.
