The following courtesy of the TV Mag Insider news The word is that CSI boss Gil Grissom finally gets it together with his sexy colleague Sara Sidle in the series 6 finale to be shown on five on 11 July. 'They have had this on-off thing for years,' sais Jorja Fox who plays Sara, 'I'm not saying exactly what happens - it is a surprise'! My reaction? Oh no.

I'm not sure about this either. Not being able to resist a bit of gossip, I read the episode guide on the official website! I think it is hinted that they've have a secret fling for a while, but nobody knew about it.
I don't like the idea of having couples and relationships between the CSIs. I worry that it will detract from the show. Yet if I were to put two peole together, it would be Grissom and Sara. They've always had a deep mutual respect for each other. I'd like any relationship, if it must be pursued, to be deep meaning rather than a drunken one night stand or short lived fling.

I'd like any relationship, if it must be pursued, to be deep meaning rather than a drunken one night stand or short lived fling. I don't think they should go there full stop. It is what makes the show, just pure forensics without romance - that will spoil it. Yes, Sara and Grissom are friendly, in fact when she first came in, they indicated that Grissom had know her for a good few years before, but I really think that it was more a respected relationship, and that she 'learnt' from him as a father figure. Ok, there have been times, when a 'intimate' moment has passed between them, like time he had got a bit of chalk on his face and she tenderly removed it, maybe that was the producers trying to tell us something? As for you commenting on the fact they will say it has been going on for some time, there was a paticular moment when Sara asked him out to dinner and he said he did not think it was a good idea, and she told him to think too long about it all. I think it will be a big mistake though.

Even so, they are going to spoil it if they are not careful.

Well it does look like they're going to pursue a Sara and Grissom relationship, but I hope it doesn't become a major part of storylines.
Perhaps a better idea would be to downplay the romance a little. I guess plenty of people have relationships with work colleagues, but still manage to remain professional. If they're keeping their relationship a secret from their colleagues, it may just be that there isn't too much focus on them as a couple - nothing that will interfere with the forensic storylines.

Let's hope you are right. I have not seen much of this series - I hope to catch up with the series when it is repreated, but if they are doing it, where they are already actually in a relationship, then they may be doing it low key, and focusing more on the Forensics, which is good.

I don't like the idea of this relationship. Hopefully it will be conducted off camera, so we don't see any romance as such.
I shouldn't think that Catherine will be too pleased. There always seemed a bit of rivalry between Sarah and her.

There always seemed a bit of rivalry between Sarah and her. Yes I agree too. I also agree with hopefully they will keep it off screen - however one thing that has always made me certain is that if Gris and Sara did have a relationship, she would expect preferential treatment. I remember when Nick was offered promotion she went all mardy because she had already told Gris of her feelings for him, and she expected to get the job instead. I really would expect her to expect favours.

most deffiantly i think your 100% right on that sharon, xx tash xx Thankyou Tash! Tonight's episode is the penultimate one, and apparently there is a hint of an relationship between the pair, so we will have to watch it and see? I do hope not, and the reveiwer in the TvTimes, said she was pleased - I completely disagree with that.

I noticed a few 'looks' between the pair of them last night.
Hasn't the end of the series come around quickly ?

No I don't at the moment, but I will do a bit of investigating and see what I can find out. I actually taped this episode as I had read that there were some 'looks' or hint of a romance between the characters and I wanted to see what was happening. And like you Sooty, I noticed some looks from Sara and Grissom in each other's direction especially at the end when Catherine and greg had left the room. Now, it is either the start and they were eyeing each other up or it has already started, and I think it is the latter, that it has already started, and no one knows as yet, something to do with that birthday breakfast, and the way Sara looked at him and the way he looked at her. However, I do not know or see how they can possible keep it a secret, especially now viewers know. I hope they know what they are doing.

We will have to see what happens on Tuesday and what happens in this 'relationship'.

Here here, and of course she will make sure she gets it, either by giving Grissom a hard time, or by using her charms. She will definately start acting the big 'I am' around people such as Nick and Greg as she and Nick in particular always sparred for things together like that promotion. She won't be able to resist 'showing off'.

Whoops, a bit quick to jump to conclusions was Warrick. He seems a bit insecure in this marriage. Have you noticed how all the CSIs are ending this week, along with Grey's Anatomy and House.

Yes, I saw that when I caught up with things. I agree I think Warrick must be a little insecure with his marriage and yes, he did rush in a little. I cannot really comment too much as I have not watched this series that much, as I feel it is losing its way abit. Yep, I have noticed that too, as I already mentioned CSI NY are ending on a blast with Flack getting hurt and Mac the intended victim, Aiden was killed, Brass is fighting for his life, and I saw the last ep of House where he was losing his marbles was it??? I don't watch grey's Anatomy as it looked completely boring and over sexed as usual. LOL There seemed to be only L&O CI that ended ok, unless you count real life where poor Vincent D'Onofrio (Det Goren) collapsed in real life.
