Yes, She is one lucky woman, and I love their 'brother- sister' working relationship. I thought it was funny last week over the horse and at the end Mac said' I can honestly say I couldn't do this job without you' to which she replied' Yes you could, just not as good'! I thought that was lovely between the two, a real sister and brother bond.

Hi SharonHarvey,
Thank you and thank you. I love their working relationship too. It would be nice if they fell in love, though. It was funny when they said that about the horse. I don't watch it all the time, but when I can, I do. I don't like the gory parts though.
Take care,
Catherine

Yes, I think they have a great relationship too, one of my favs was when Mac tormented her for sayiong'gooey!' I disagree with you on the falling in love bit, they are more like brother and sister and I think anything else would spoil it. Oh, I watch it all the time becasue I like it, but also because of Gary/Mac! The gory bits can be a bit much, though I guess that adds to the programme and makes it so different from other shows.

Hi SharonHarvey,
I will admit that I don't watch it all the time, so I missed the one when she said, "gooey." lol
I guess they are more like brother and sister, but I think they would make a beautiful couple.
I cannot stand the gory parts; maybe that's why I don't watch it all the time. I watched ER for a long time, and then stopped watching that.
Take care,
Catherine

Take care, Catherine Hi Catherine, Oh, I watch it all time for different reason, I think the Forensic side is really interesting. Going back to your Question regarding Mac and Stella, I have noticed a look or two from the British DNA lady to Mac and I was pleasantly surprised it was Stella and not her he invited out for a hotdog the other night, although was quite happy about that ;D as I am not liking the DNA lady's advances towards him!. I have to say though, even though I don't want them to have anything other than a working relationship I was happy with the 'chemistry' between them the other night, or maybe I am getting it mixed up with the 'brother- sister' relationship I can see, and it was that I saw? I don't know. As for the gory bits, I have had to screw my face up several times at scenes, but I think that is what makes it so different and good. Take Care yourself Sharon

Hi SharonHarvey,
I do think the forensic side is interesting too, but I hate the gore. I think that Mac could have bought her something better than a hot dog, though!!! Maybe it's because I don't like hot dogs. lol I don't blame the British DNA lady for looking at him, though. I am sure it is chemistry, because they are both good-looking people!!! She's gorgeous and he is a hunk!!! ;D
You take care too,
Catherine

Hi Catherine yeah, but I think that was part of the 'joke' buying her the hotdog. Yeah, maybe the DNA lady is nice, but I think he would be better staying away from her!!!! besides all that, I really don't think romance is best for the show, that is what makes it so different from other shows. Take Care mate

I really don't think romance is best for the show, that is what makes it so different from other shows. I absolutely agree with that. If you go too much into the private lives of the characters, it becomes a bit too soapy and the focus on the drama is lost. Plus if two characters have a relationship, break up, then have to work together, the focus becomes them instead of the crime they're investigating. As for my CSI:NY hunk, they're all pretty cute but for me, I'd have to pick the lovely Detective Flack

You are quite right, he is rather nice ;D
The CSI: programmes all have excellent websites, and even show little video clips of some of the scenes.

I've got a bit of background info on Gary. ( It was in the Sunday Express yesterday )
When we saw him in that jazz band, he actually was playing that guitar.
Seemingly, when he isn't filming, he tours with his rock group which is called Lt Dan band. I think he took the name from the character he played in Forrest Gump. ( Lieutenant Dan Taylor )
He is co-founder of a charity organization called OIC ( Operation Iraqi Children ) which has so far shipped out 300 tons of school supplies to 400,000 children. He actually went out to Baghdad with one convoy
It appears he was third choice to play Mac. Both Andy Garcia, and Ray Liotta turned the part down. I for one am very pleased they did, it wouldn't be the same programme without him as lead.
It also says he is 51. ;D

I knew about the Iraqi children, but I didn't know about the others, I find it difficult to find things out on Gary. I thought he looked great with the guitar, and yes, he did look as though he knew what he was doing. Yes, I agree with you, I am glad that the other turned down the role, Gary is much better in the role. ;D Another bit of info for you he is married with 3 children, Sophie, Ella and MCanna. Lucky woman his wife. Yes Flack is quite nice, he seems to have changed his hair colour I think since the last series, something seems different.

I really like Gary Sinise as Mac. I couldn't imagine anybody else in that role. I've read a few things where people think he's a bit bland, but I think Mac is a brilliant leader. It is just that they seem to share the workload better on NY - everybody does their bit.
As for Flack's hair, he's had a haircut. It used to be quite floppy before, whereas now it is lovely and short. He looks even better than he did before. ;D
They're such a good looking bunch of men on CSI:NY. A few weeks back when Danny was playing that handball game, wearing a white vest and dripping with sweat... that could well be my favourite ever episode of CSI ;D
