We have a new cast member in the shape of Lindsay Monroe played by Anna Belnapp who presumably takes over from Aiden as she is no longer in the credits.
She is to work with Mac at first and as always has a dark secret which is why she began as a CSI.
I will try and get more info on her - so watch this space.

I like her already, seem quite up to the job, a lot better than Aidan.

I have not noticed her nickname, don't tell me Danny calls it her? She is the only one that does not get called by her first name by him as he used to call Aiden by her first. |

I think she is great.
I first saw her in Medical Investigation, on channel 5. They only had three episodes on and axed it as it didn't get the viewers.
A wise move she made.

I think she is s great addition to the cast, and someone you can really get to like, like we already do. I think all the current cast are great and that helps to make it a good programme. I used to think the cast of Vegas were good, but I think they are trying to get Catherine to be more glamourous than a scientist, and in Miami, I don't like the addition of Ryan Woolfe, so I am pleased with Lindsay. |

I loved Aiden, but I think Lindsay is a great character. They're both quite different characters - Aiden was hotheaded whereas Lindsay is more like a proper scientist - but they both work for me.
I agree with you about Catherine. She looks like she's just stepped out of a salon all the time - too glamorous for attending crime scenes!
I've given up with Miami now. Horatio gets right on my nerves, the rest of the cast are quite weak compared to the others, and the stories aren't really that strong. It is one of those things that I only really watch if there's nothing else on. After Speed got shot, it lost a lot of its appeal for me.

Yes, I know what you mean regarding Miami, it was said somewhere that Horatio kept using his sunglasses all the time, and boy have I noticed that since! I also notice he uses the phrase 'And that means' an awful lot too, in such a long drawl. Unfortunately I have not seen too much of this series, through one thing or another, though, too be honest, I agree with the statement that after Speed went, something else did too. They really do need to look at it again. As for Catherine, they really need to evaluate the character abit, as she really does not fit the role anymore, she is like 5o trying to be 20 and she really does not fit the role that she is supposed to be doing. As for the reason for this thread, Lindsay, I actually never liked Aiden at all, but Lindsay is the sort, that you could immediately make friends with. I saw the episode in which they were looking at insects and Mac told her not to eat them! I thought that was hilarious! |

I think Catherine is being groomed to take the lead from Grissom (as apparently William Petersen wants to take time out in S7). She does seem to be given more storylines where she is in charge. I don't dislike Catherine as a character, but she always just looks too well groomed. |

I am not keen on Catherine at all, but just recently I have noticed she is trying to look like a model, and not what she is supposed to be. Anyway this should be for another thread.  |
