I'm not sure if there are a great deal of 24 fans here, but just in case there are I thought I would post some news. It went through a rocky patch during season 6, with the freshness that we previously associated with the show being lost as many stories were regurgiated.
Season 7 however sees the show move from LA to Washington, with CTU gone in favour of the FBI. Most of the cast have been axed, with only Chloe and Jack guaranteed to return.
Annie Wersching will play the main female lead in the seventh season of 24, according to reports.
Wersching, who will star opposite Kiefer Sutherland, will "play an FBI Agent who is in an adversarial relationship with Jack Bauer," according to the Hollywood Reporter. The young actress is best known for a recent recurring role on General Hospital, but has also made appearances in Angel and Supernatural.
In addition, Bob Gunton will reprise his role as Secretary of Defense Ethan Kanin for the upcoming season, following appearances in three episodes of Day 6. He will reportedly be a regular cast member.
