I want to see the Bionic Woman, just to see how Michelle Ryan (Zoe in EE) does. Several people are predicting it'll be awful, but I'm more hopeful.
Private Practice (look for the long preview in one of the other threads), Life is Wild (US version of Wild At Heart) and Dirty Sexy Money look good too.

Pushing Daisies does look good. Now that I have broadband I may well look at several of these over the internet - just to see what they are like.

I watched Cavemen last night. I am not sure if the UK has Geico commercials. But in my opinion the Cavemen should have stayed in the commercial. The show was not that great.

I can`t stand the Geico caveman commercials, so I had no intention of watching the Caveman show. I don`t know what the tv execs were smoking the day the decided to air it, but they should lay off it.

That's a good sign anyway. I want to download it, but when the quality isn't good I worry about it being ruined for me. CG - Should I wait until January or download and get addicted now - despite the quality?

My advice eithne is to d/l it now and get addicted ASAP. I`m sure from the very first episode you`ll be as hooked on it as I am ;D

My husband is enjoying Pushing Daisies and also Bionic Woman. So far both of us like Private Practice as well. Hope they can keep it up as spin offs don't usually do that well. As for a new comedy has anyone seen Carpoolers? It has its funny moments.

*waves* hiya Deb ;D
I haven`t heard of it Deb. The only comedy I watch this season is 'Back to you' . Its a very funny show, yet not one I would normally watch. Strangely enough I didn`t bother much with Frasier or 'Every One Loves Raymond'. But together Kelsey Grammer and Patricia Heaton are a great comedy duo. Deb...have you watched the new season of 'My Name is Earl' yet? What about Survivor China? Have you been watching that too?

HI CG, how are you? I did watch one episode of Back to You and enjoyed it, but something else must be on at the same time and I forget about it. Carpoolers is on tonight at 8:30 (Tues.). It has Jerry O'Connell in it. My Name is Earl we used to enjoy. We only watched half the episodes last year. We taped the first episode from this season, watched half and didn't laugh once. We turned off the tape and haven't watched since. Survivor China I am really enjoying. I like the players this time and am also finding the challenges different from previous years. I also like there is no exile island, but they go over to the other tribe. Oh, what about the new Gordon Ramsay show Kitchen Nightmares are you watching that? I remember you used to watch Hells Kitchen.

Yes and am loving them. I`m surprised on th efirst episode on how Gordon kept his cool with that wannabe Godfather jerk. I`ll watch anything that has Gordon Ramsay in them. I`m not too keen on this seasons Survivor. I`m still watching it though...wouldn`t miss it. James the gravedigger is my fave...as is Denise the lunch lady

Some good news:
ABC has issued a full season order for Pushing Daisies.
The back nine pickup will continue the critically praised series - which averages 11.1m total viewers and a solid 11% share in adults 18-49 in its pre-Private Practice slot on Wednesday nights - into the spring.
Creator Bryan Fuller executive produces it with Barry Sonnenfeld, Dan Jinks, Bruce Cohen and Brooke Kennedy.
The show stars Lee Pace as Ned, a piemaker who can bring bodies back to life by touching them.
Pushing Daisies is the second series to get its second half confirmed from ABC this season after Private Practice.
The series has been picked up in the UK by ITV.

Thanks for that eithe. I`m glad it got good ratings...very well deserved I`m wondering if the narrator Jim Dale is the same Jim Dale from the Carry On films of yesteryear

I've downloaded the first episode and have watched the first five minutes (with the dog and then with his mother). It looks rather impressive. Going to watch the full episode later. Really like the look of it though and especially like the way its shot, with vivid colours (especially the yellow field).

I am glad it is coming on to ITV. Since we have moved, we can only get Freeview, so channels are now limited for us ( We had SKY before. )

It's expected to be on ITV2 - but thats on Freeview isn't it? Maybe they'll try it on ITV1 though.
Anyway, I finally watched all the first episode and quite liked it. All the characters are instantly likeable. It'll be interesting to see the next episode though I'm not sure though if I will wait until it comes over here or to keep watching online. It took me ages to download, despite broadband, so maybe it'll be better to wait until January when it starts up on ITV in January.
Anna Friel is really good as Chuck. And I like the writing for the characters. As I said before it'll be interesting to see the next episode, as it is more of a procedural crime drama than a romantic/soapy one. One thing though - the cinematography is amazing, with some really amazing shots. They really make the show a stand out.

It has a beautiful theme music throughout the show too doesn`t it. I`m not usually a fan of classical music, but the music on Pushing Daisies is lovely.
