Jorja Fox, one of the stars of 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation', is leaving the series.
TV Guide quotes sources as saying that Fox, who plays Sara Sidle in the series, will appear in her last episode of 'CSI' on US television in November. The episode is entitled 'Hello, Goodbye'.
The reason cited for Fox's departure is that she failed to come to a new-long term deal with the makers of the show.
Speaking to TV Guide's Michael Ausiello in an exclusive interview, Fox did not confirm outright that she was leaving, saying: "I can't answer those questions right now. I would love, at some point in the future, to talk with you again. Because I am under contract with the show at this point, I'm not actually allowed to talk about storylines that haven't aired yet."

That could change the dynamics. Maybe they'll let Gil Grissom go back to being the fun loving guy he was going to be when it started out and he was dating the coroner - I think that's what she was - she wore a white coat - anyone else remember.

No she was not a coroner, I don't know the full name of her occupation but I know who you are referring too. It does not surprise me that Jorja Fox is leaving after all the problems that she gave to the producers in the last season. In the programme she is, like Catherine to full of herself, and thinks because she is dating the boss, she should get favouritism. This programme has gone down the nick I think, and i think ALL of the CSI should stick to the format, Forensics and NO romance.

I wondered if she would go.
There has been a bit of negative press about her. These big companies won't stand any nonsense, they quite easily terminate contracts or don't renew them.
I certainly won't miss her strange voice.

Yes, there has been some nasty press regarding her, the recent being that she refused to do the last episode of Vegas where Sara had been kidnapped and they had to spend thousands re shooting, or they were going to but it seems they may have put there foot down a little, which so they should. So the companies should just get rid of them and not stand any nonsence from them, they are just stars that's all, ok they may help to make the programme the success it may be, but that does not give them the right to lay down the law to their bosses. They had this problem a year or so ago with her and George Eads who plays Nick Stokes. No, I won't miss her either she was getting abit cocky because of her relationship with Grissom.

Easy enough to kill her off though, just don't get to that car ( which she's trapped under ) in time.
