Wow, what can I say about last weeks episode? I was completely gobsmacked to see Eric get shot for a start in the leg, and then get shot in the slow motion and...killed
To say I was gobsmacke- shocked was/is an understatement. I had to rewind the section 2 or 3 times as I wasn't sure I had watched it right! I am still in shock!
I had read somewhere that one of the team was to get hurt and would leave tragic repercussions for the rest of the team, but we have heard that one before and it is one of the 'supporting' cast like a police man or something and it is not as huge as they make it out to be, so this time I thought 'Yeah right, you are just trying to me excited, well I am not falling for it this time! ' Wasn't I caught out?
I am saddened that Eric is dead and it will be interesting to see how the rest of the cast (Characters) react now. So yet another cast member has departed.
And in all that excitement then we had poor Alex getting blown up in the courtroom too!
This is the sort of action we need in these shows not romance, this is CSI Miami at it's best, and although we have to lose a character, it is the sort of action that leaves us on the edge of our seats with our mouths wide opne in shock.
However, I do have one, well two actually complaints. One is I wish the director would stop making David Caruso as Horatio stand to one side all the time which is quite annoying, and I wish they would allow them to show a little more emotion. Take the scene where 'H' runs into the courtroom to find Alex and he is yelling in slow motion (again!) but when he finds Alex, he just asks if she is ok? I would have thought it would be nicer to have hugged her? As a workmate of course, but surely that would be ok?
A fantastic episode and I look forward to seeing the second half - minus Eric
