Its been quite a while since we last had a poll on here, so heres one about the newest family to move onto the Square.
On a side note: Who used to occupy their house? Was it Barry and Janine's old one?

Yes, I think so - but more recently by Alfie Moon and Nana, followed briefly by Ruby Allen.

I voted to wait a bit - they've not been shown enough or as rounded characters, so it's too soon to dismiss them as crap yet. Although my gut instinct says they are annoying and stuck up - but I'll wait before passing judgement.

I've gone for don't like 'cos I don't like the way they are taking over and the high and mighty attitude the mother displays. From something I read elsewhere Mr Masood - who is the new postman is equally as up himself. But in fairness I think the kids are going to be OK. They seem to be finding their mum an embarassment.

She certainly is an embarrassment. I wonder if they'll tone her down?

I think that this topic (i.e. The Masood Mysteries!!!) is of such importance that we should use this thread for the purpose of solving the mysteries!!! Person who comes closet to solving all the mysteries gets a prize!!! So: 1) Is the father's name really Masood Masood? 2) What is with the scars? (My Theory: She's self-harmer. Afterall she wouldn't hide them from him if he's) 3) What did Shabnam do in university and why hasn't she gotten a better job out of it? 4) What's the story with the other son - Syed? (People on DS seem to think he's gay) Answers on a postcard please! LOL!

1)' Mas' stands for 'Masochist'. 2) The marks are from her bulging out of her tight skirt. 3) Shabnam studied boys' bedoom ceilings at Uni. 4) Syed set up business in a rival post office and was exiled from the family.
Sorted.

LOL, especially at numbers 3 and 4. Shabnam doesn't seem the type, but then its always the quiet ones isn't it?

I am sick of not knowing what the story with Syed is! All the references last night especially are annoying me. I wonder how long it'll be before we find out. I hope they don't drag it out too much longer.

Me too. It's probably something really trivial but blown up out of all proportion. Maybe he didn't want to be a postmaster so she disowned him.

I agree. I'm probably wrong though. But it occured to be last night while watching her pushing Shabnam into enrolling in the business course so she can take over. Shabnam (like her dad) hasn't the guts to stand up to her but maybe Syed did.

And on a purely shallow level - when he turns up, let's hope he's fit! There's no male crumpet on EE - with a bit of luck Syeed will be a cutie!

I voted don't like, because although the kids are ok, i hate the parents.
Theorys from me and my friend, i love these sorts of random mysteries.
1. Chances are, yes 2. An angry cat tried to eat her 3. She flunked out, plain and simple, was too busy watching kids TV shows to study. 4. He became a multi-millionare and wouldn't give his family a penny because his mother won't take that incredibly tacky picture down, he spends every day of his life regretting ever painting it.

A month and a half on and we still haven't answered any of the Masood Mysteries have we? Slow burner or what? They've been featured very little recently though, with the Fick's departure build up and the Stax saga as well as R&R's.
