LOL! I'd forgotten all about them. Where are they apart from the daughter? Is this another mystery which needs solving?

The mysteries of the Masoods just keep on growing don't they? Maybe the daughter got tired of keeping all their secrets and bumped them all off!!!

Resurrecting thins as we know the woman Zainab talked about to Shabnam was really her like we guessed. But we still don't know who the husband was. My money's still on Uncle Freaky because he's got some hold over her and he's the father of Syed.

I like them all....with the exception of Uncle Freaky. But I didn`t include him in my choice as he`s not a regular Massood member.

Uncle Freaky may make a comeback. He has to be a major part of this mystery and as she's so terrified of him it has to be more than just being Mas's brother and head of the family. I wonder if we'll ever see Syed? He's the most mysterious of the lot! I hate the way they drop us little titbits then leave it for months.

Its good in one way that its being drawn out and they are not revealing it all too quickly, but I do think the family have had enough time (almost a year) to bed in at this stage so I'd like to see some proper stories for them over the next month or two. To be honest the curry story is amusing, but definitely there is a strong smell of summer padding off it.

They must reveal all soon but I do like them just really doing nothing. Makes a change for characters to be normal.

From Yahoo News:
More to come, says Walford's Wadia 7 hours 26 mins ago It's been just over a year since the Masood clan first entered Albert Square, and if you thought we'd got to know them, actress Nina Wadia, who plays matriarch Zainab, reckons we couldn't be further from the truth. Skip related content In an interview with Digital Spy, she revealed how her character's stubbornness and pride have hampered her family's efforts to keep their finances in order.
Wadia explained: "With Zainab, it's a question of pride. That's one of her weaknesses and she doesn't want anyone to know she's lost control of her finances, even her own family. She keeps it to herself and thinks that she'll somehow be able to find her way out of it.
"Unfortunately though, she's forced to close the Post Office. Dot actually gets involved in a protest in the hope of saving the Post Office and she assumes, of course, that the government are closing it down and Zainab plays along with it. She lies, without actually lying."
When asked why Zainab is so fiercely proud, Wadia explained: "We haven't actually delved into her past yet. She came from a reasonably wealthy background in Pakistan, so to then struggle over here in the UK has been a huge eye opener for her. So there's definitely a lot of Zainab that we haven't really seen yet.
"We know that Zainab had an affair with Masood and that she was married to a local Pakistani boy and she ended up falling for Mas because he was charming, funny and I think the fact that he was British-Asian has something to do with it - it was different for her.
"At the time, she'd have assumed that life would have been very different to what it ended up being, as a lot of immigrants find."
She added: "A lot of people haven't seen the fun-loving, cheeky side to Zainab that Mas fell in love with. That's the idea of having a slow-burn character, though, so you get to love her, or in some cases, love to hate her."
As for the responsibility of playing one of the few Muslim families in soapland, Wadia is philosophical.
She said: "There is a bit of weight on our shoulders, but at the same time, I hope most people realise that it's a soap and that you do have to exaggerate some of the qualities that some people have to make the storylines interesting."
