Well I watched....It was very touching to see Jim back...all those Branning offspring and not so much as a mention of Carol Thats my Eastenders fix for the next 5 years  |

I thought it was brilliant - very well done and great acting from both John Bardon (he conveyed so much emotion with so little) and June Brown. I was tearful at times watching it and I loved the family reunion (although it was a pity that we didn't get to see Jack's first scene with Jim).

It was. EE didn't put him through too much yet also created some excellent drama and gave him a chance to return, albeit briefly. Everyone did excellently last night.
