Part 1
Janice was sitting on the couch in her flat talking very secretly to someone on phone...
Janice: ‘I know I can hardly wait either. (Lowering her voice) Hang on I've gotta go Lee is comin... Yeah, ok right see you soon, Love you, bye!’<br>Janice slams down the phone and quickly runs and sits down on the couch and picks up the nearest magazine and quickly opens it. At this point, Leanne is entering the living room she has just come out of the shower and is still in a towel, with her hair dripping wet.

Leanne: (Rubbing her hair with a towel and sitting down next to Janice) ‘Who was that you were talkin to on the phone?’<br>Janice: ‘When? I wasn’t talkin to anyone.’<br>Leanne: ‘Oh yes you were just then... I heard you... (Her face lights up) Hey! It was a bloke wasn't it? Your mystery fella.’<br>Janice: (Trying to sound convincing) What mystery fella? I wasn't even talkin to anyone you need your ears tested love!
Leanne: ‘Oh do I now? (Laughs) Come on Jan you can tell me! Us girls together and all that!
Janice: ‘There nothing to tell!’<br>

Leanne: (With a satisfied look on her face) ‘Well, what were you doin just then when I was in the shower reading that mag?’<br>Janice: ‘Yes, for a matter of fact I was’<br>Leanne: ‘Really since when have you been interested in cars?’<br>Janice: ‘What? (Looking round on the cover of the mag)... Damn! Ill kill that bloke of yours!’<br>Leanne: (laughs) ‘Come on Jan! Who is he?’<br>Janice: ‘No-one! For heavens sake! WILL YOU GIVE IT A REST! IT’S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS WHO I WAS TALKIN TO!’
Janice then stands up grabs her jacket and keys.
Janice: ‘Im going for a pint!’<br>Leanne: JAN! I-
But Leanne is interuppted by the sound of the front door slamming shut...

All the great new stories on this board! It is really starting to take off isn't it? I'm beaming with happiness. Long may it continue! ;D Anyways, all this intrigue is gonna kill me. I was just over on the Emmerdale board, and there is a new mystery story over there and another one here! Wow. I'm wondering who it will be though? - Les (bit obvious) - Kirk (less obvious) - Jamie (pretty surprising!) - Roy (you never know with Janice!  ) Looking forward to more. Puzzled by your problem though. If it persists might be worthwhile posting a few more details over on the Troubleshooting board? Anyway, keep it coming. |

It is later on in the same evening and Leanne and Jamie where sitting on the couch at the Baldwin’s, eating a pizza and watching a film.
Leanne: ‘Im postive that Jan’s got herself a new bloke Jay... But, she won’t tell me who its is... God! This is annoying me now! You wouldn’t happen to know would you?’ Leanne gives Jamie the evil eye.
Jamie: ME! HOW WOULD I KNOW?!’<br>Leanne: ‘Well, you might have heard her talking about it at work’<br>

Jamie looks at Leanne as if she’s off her rocker.
Jamie: ‘Yeah, cause Ive got nothing better to do, than listen to that lot rabbiting on!
Leanne’s face lights up.
Leanne: ‘Ive got an idea!’<br>Jamie: (sighs) I hate it when you have ideas!’<br>Leanne: No! No! Listen! You could find out for me.’<br>Leanne smiles innocently at Jamie.
Jamie nearly chokes on his pizza.
Jamie: ‘ME!’<br>Leanne: ‘Yes you...’<br>Leanne bats her eyelids.

Leanne: ‘Look just listen will ya! And if you do then (Leanne moves towards Jamie) there might be something in it for you.’<br>Jamie: ‘Oh yeah!’<br>Leanne: (laughs) ‘Now its simple all you have to do is....’<br>
