Fred and Bev (poem/verse fiction)

hi,this is the other one I wrote and would like to know if it`s good or bad? it`s an alteranate ending for them valerie (val)

Fred and Bev

Everyone was there from Coronation Street
Fred and Bev because as a couple they are sweet
the day Fred Handel Elliot wed Bev
Betty from the rover`s did the catering with help from Dev

Diggory baked the wedding cake
for a favor for Fred and he never asked for any money that was a big mistake
Fred and Bev looked and smiled at Ashley and Claire and family includeing Josh
makeing a toast to the happy couple in orange squash

Fred had a secret and he wasn`t sad to leave the Rover`s as they were off to the sun
Fred knew it was time for him and Bev to have fun
Liz Mcdonald said she would look ater the pub
the only trouble was Vernon her boyfriend thought he was helping her that was the only rub


Fred had given Ashley his butcher`s empire
he knew he enjoyed the working for his family and would never tire
as he watched Shelley smile
Fred thought it`s done her good to get away from that Charlie for awhile

yes Fred had a secret and it was time for he and Bev to have some fun
they were going to enjoy themself`s soon in the sun
Fred did a quick stock check to make sure the Rover`s had enough booze
before he and Bev sneaked away on their honeymoon cruise

they drank wine by the glass as they sailed down the rhine
Fred tenderly kissed Bev then whispered in her ear his secret he had won the lottery and they`re honeymoon could go on for some time
yes it was time he and Bev had some fun
and now they are going to enjoy themself`s in the sun

If only, Valda. Mean bosses! That was excellent and I wish it really would be like that even though I don't watch any more.

thank you Patsy I`m never very sure about my poetry . yes they are mean writeing fred out the way they are doing and no need for it either :x . after I heard on here what they were planning to do to Fred, this came to me as an alternate ending for them, I just wish it could come true for them:) . I still watch Corrie but will need my hanky`s with corrie bosse`s Fred and Bev`s so called Wedding day :,(.

I've done several alternate endings for Mike in my stories. Only 2 he died though. But the last one I did alone (Everlasting Love) has him dying in October and Fred's still alive! LOL!
