Anyone else get it? It can be really, really annoying sometimes.
Basically I go through periods where I want to write, but just can't get motivated enough to write. If I do write when I'm like this it is of a sub standard, basically just rubbish!
Then, when I do get my short, creative bursts when I can be bothered to write I use them up really quickly and am soon sick of typing.
Look at Lies of A Hooker (my Eastenders fanfic). I've been writing it on and off since May 2002 and still it isn't really that long (1 1/2 pages). I've got the story planned out, I just need to finish it.
And then there is Secrets (Em) and Sally's Nightmare (Corrie) and goodness knows what else which I want to do, but just don't. It really annoys me sometimes that I just can't.
And of course that is why the site is updated so little as well, as I've got no material for it (and of course it seems better for stories to be posted on these boards rather than there for feedback reasons anyway!).
Anyone else suffer from writer's block or the like?
Or just want to give me some advice?

I have been writing for 20 years or so, and sometimes I just sit there blankly, but when an idea comes into my head, I just can't stop writing!! Then I het tired as I have done to much. I have an habit of having a few stories on the go, as I think it is better than having to stick at one and get writers block for it. You have a selection then.
