EASTENDERS ONCE UPON A STORMY NIGHTJanuary 2005 A cold stormy night in Albert Square. It was definitely a night to be in front of the telly with a loved one, curled up all nice and warm. For some of the residents this was true. Billy and Little Mo had just gotten Baby Freddie off to sleep and were settled down to watch a video, Billy had brought home from the shop. Little Mo had bought Billy a DVD player for Christmas but so far he hadn't bothered with it. "Billy, are you ever going to use that DVD player I bought ya?" she asked "What? oh of course darlin yeh, just have to get a few dvds to play on it ye know" "Well you do work in video shop Billy. I would have thought you'd be up to your eyes in DVDs. It is a bit dated that shop, most of the people 'round here probably have dvd players" said Mo. Billy looked at her with a puzzled look. "Well business has been a bit slack recently. Spose I should look into stocking a few" Just then the video started to jump and the picture was replaced with a screen of snow. Billy cursed to himself and got up and started banging the top of the video recorder. "I'm going to bed, this is obviously a waste of time" sighed Little Mo. "Nah, darlin dont' go to bed. I 'aven't seen ya all day!" "Billy i'm tired. I have a long day at the Vic tomorrow" moaned Mo. "Surely you can take a day off, we aven't spent anytime together since Christmas" "No Billy, Alfie needs me. I'm sorry darlin, are you coming in?" Mo kissed him "Yeh alright" muttered Billy. He switched off the light and followed Mo to bed. At the Vic, Den was sat in the bar on his own. The place was dead on account of the bad weather. He stood in the bar and looked around, various Xmas decorations still hung along the bar. He despised Christmas, esepecially after the one he'd just had. Seeing his son and daughter back together again, after everything he'd done to keep them apart. It was still an hour to closing time. He decided he'd stay at the Vic tonight. He and Chrissie werent' exactly on the best of terms since Christmas Day. All he could think about was Sharon and Dennis, and poor Zoe. Just then his thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a door opening. He looked around to find his wife standing there, glaring at him.

"You coming home tonight then?" she said, as she slowly walked up to the bar. "Why? Sharon and Dennis gone have they?" replied Den. "You know they haven't. They're down the club, remember the club? Our livelyhood?" "This is my livelyhood now. Look around Chrissie. This was meant to be our new start. This was meant to put the Watts back on the map in Albert Square" Den was interrupted. "Oh save it Den. I've heard it all before!" Chrissie snapped, she walked behind the bar and got herself a drink. "How do you expect me to home, when my daughter, my Princess, is shacked up wiv her own brother!" "They're not brother and sister Den, not biologically. This isnt' something that just happened overnight, they love each other!" Den walked around the bar and stood closer to Chrissie. "Its sick is what it is" Chrissie glared at him.
Sonia had felt sorry for Zoe, after witnessing the almighty catfight between Sharon and Zoe in the middle of the Square on Christmas Day, she couldnt' believe what Dennis had done to her. On Christmas Day of all days, although it doesnt' seem to matter around here. Bad things will happen just as easily on Christmas Day as any other day in the year. Sonia was keeping Zoe company. The two were never really close. Sonia missed having a friend. Martin her husband, she loved to bits, but all that stuff with Sarah had made her realise how much she loved him and he loved her. However, there was also a part of her that felt, had it been true, had he really fallen for her, who would she have been left with? Grandad and Dot? Wellard?
"Thanks for keeping me company Sonia" Zoe came back into the living room with a glass of wine, she handed one to Sonia. Sonia smiled "Its no problem. You shouldnt' be on your own you know. In this flat" "I know. I can't bring myself to go back to the house, not with that cah Stacey living there" replied Zoe. "Still its got to be better than living here on your own. Why don't you even advertise for a flatmate in Walford Gazzette?" said Sonia. Zoe shook her head and stared out the window on the rain soaked Square. "What is it with this place Sonia eh? Nothing ever seems to go right for me 'raund 'ere" Zoe's eyes filled with tears. "I dunno, I've asked myself that question more than enough times myself" Sonia sipped her wine. "Yeh but its alright for you. You've got Martin. You're married, you have your nusring career" Zoe turned around to face Zoe "I really envy you Sonia" Sonia smiled "Its funny, for ages I envied you. Especially when you first moved onto the Square. You were so pretty. You still are. I think Jamie was mad about you" laughed Sonia. "Yeh we had some good times" Zoe said without thinking. Sonia looked at her, and then looked at the floor "Oh Son, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that" Zoe sat down. "No, no its alright, all in the past now eh" Sonia smiled.
Outside the Square was empty, except for the odd stray dog or cat. Thunder rumbled in the distance.
Walford tonight was deserted of life. Dennis and Sharon sat in the office listening to the storm outside. The club was deserted, just like the Queen Vic.
"You'd want to be mad to come out on a nighht like this, lets just go 'home" Dennis said locking the safe. "What? when we have a perfectly empty office in a perfectly empty club? Where we can do whatever we want?" Sharon sat seductively on the desk. Dennis turned and smiled. "What are you like eh? You know we can't, Kareena and Mickey are out there" he said as he walked over and began stroking and kissing her. "Hmmm so what, just lock the door" she pounced on her lover, as they stumbled across the office, kissing wildly, Dennis somehow managed to lock the door, he pushed Sharon back toward the desk as the pair crashed down on top of it, stationery, papers and phone all falling to the floor with a loud clattering.
IN THE CLUB.... "Thats it I'm going home" Kareena threw down her towel "There is only so much I can take of Romeo and Juliet in there" "They're acting out some sort of play by the sound of fings, not sure its Shakespeare though" laughed Mickey. Kareena raised her eyebrows sarcastically. "Yeh sorry...."Mickey looked away embarrassed, Kareena laughed and walked toward the office door. "Not that you'll notice! but I'm going to take off now! See ya tomorrow yeh!" she shouted through the door. Semi naked, Sharon and Dennis both jumped at the sound of Kareena banging the door. "Uhh yeh alrite darlin, see ye tomorrow!" called Sharon. She and Dennis both laughed. "Come on lets get out of here" she said buttoning up her blouse. "Where we gonna go?" asked Dennis "The same place we've been going and sleepng in since Christmas. Dad will probably stay in the Vic tonight. So long as his son and daughter are an item, he won't come within feet of the place" smiled Sharon. "Doesn't that bother you thought? I mean, he is your...our Dad. Shouldn't we try and make peace with him?" Sharon looked at Dennis with a flash of annoyance. "Dennis look, I just want to be with ya. If it means not talking to me Dad for a while thats fine. You're forgetting he threatened to kill you! And what he called me? A slut! My own Dad called me a filthy slut in front of the entire Square on Christmas mornin! I'm sorry Dennis but this time Dad....Den will just have to get over himself because I'm not pandering to h im and neither are you, he's not splitting us up, not this time!" Sharon took up her bag "Now are you coming or what?" The rain was beating down heavier and thunder and lightening coming and going regularly, as the two lovers shelthered under one umbrella and ran toward the Square, laughing and giggling.
"And what? you expect me to come back over there as if everything is normal do ya?" Den was behind the bar, in yet another fight with yet another fight in the Queen Vic. He had lost count years ago of how many ding dongs he'd had under this roof. "Den, they are adults! They're not related! They're doing nothing wrong! What is so hard for you understand. I knew you were thick Den but I didnt' think you were quite at dunce level yet!" retorted Chrissie. "Oh dont' start all that. They're may not be brother and sister biologically, but they're my kids, they're brother and sister in every other way, the ways that matter, the ways that people will remember when they look at them together, when they look at us as a family" Chrissie laughed "Ohhh so this is it. Its about what the people of Albert Square think is it? What Pauline and Dot think? What Patrick, Yolande and whichever foster child happens to be at their table, what they think? What the Slaters will be gossiping about over their toast in the morning? Den its nothing to do with them! Who cares what they think!" "I do! I care!" Den came around the bar in a rage. "I bloody care when my daughter is shacked up in my flat whilst her brother, my son! gets into her knickers every night!" "Now you're just twisting it" Chrissie looked away. "Oh am I?" Den said calmly "So you tell me what its called when two people who share the same father decide to start cohabiting together then hmm?" Den walked to the end of the bar and locked the doors. It was well after closing time. "And what about me eh?" Chrissie looked at him "Why am I suffering for the so called sins of your children eh Den?"
Zoe was getting very drunk. She had already drank half a bottle of wine before Sonia had arrived. "You know they'll all be sorry" laughed Zoe, she staggered once again to the window, overlooking the Square. "Who'll be sorry?" asked Sonia gently. "Them, all those people who 'ave 'urt me this past year. They're so gonna get it back big time" Zoe laughed again. "Zoe I think you should......" Sonia began "Dennis! that slut bitch Sharon!, Chrissie, Den! they all knew!" Zoe whirled around and faced with Zoe with angry tear filled eyes. "Zoe don't do this to yourself. Its not worth it. Things will get better" "Oh yeh right" Zoe laughed derisively "Saint Sonia eh! It doesnt' matter what happens to you does it, you can drop babies, you can 'ave any man you want, the love o your life can be killed but dont' worry, theres still the guy acrosss the Square who was actually behind the wheel of the car! you can fall in love wiv 'im and get married!" Zoe laughed again. Sonia looked at Zoe hard "There is no need for that Zoe. I know you're 'urting nah but I'm only trying to 'elp ya" "Yeh well, the only way I'll be 'elped now is watching that cah Sharon choke on her own cheap hair extensions!" Sonia looked worried.

Sharon and Dennis walked onto the Albert Square still huddled together. They noticed the lights still on in the Vic. Dennis stopped and looked over. "Its well after closing" he said to Sharon. "Oh knowing Dad he's probably 'aving a lock in or somink, its nothing to worry about, come on i'm freezing" she tried pulling Dennis along. "No I think we should check it out. See if he's alright" Sharon pulled Dennis back "Or we could be doing this" she kissed him passionately. Sharon walked backwards, leading Dennis along, not realising they were soon stood right outside Zoe's flat, Number 43 Albert Square.
IN the Vic.... "Its simple! they leave, I come 'ome!" Den shouted at Chrissie. "Oh thats the way its going to be Den is it? Sharon and Dennis upset you, so you throw a tantrum and hurt me in the process. I am sick of being the victim of your wars with your children Den! I held this family together all those weeks you buggered off to Spain, no phone call, no letter, not even a poxy postcard! Yet I came back here and held the "great Watts" together. You! you're back less than three months, you drive Vicki back to America and now you're planning on destroying your son and daughter, not to mention me, your wife! the innocent bystander in this little drama of yours, is left with no husband!" Chrissie's face was burning red. "I got you this place didnt I? I got the Vic for you, for Sharon, for Dennis, for Vicki, this has been my dream, the Watts back in the Vic!" Den gestured around him. "Yes Den! your dream! your dream! not mine! not Sharon's, not Dennis's, you and your bloody ego trips, screw the Mitchells out of the pub, be the big man of Walford again! You sad pathetic git!" Just then Chrissie threw the glass at Den, he ducked and it shattered against the door.
OUTSIDE...Faint sound of glass shattering. Dennis broke his kiss with Sharon "I think that came from the Vic, Sharon someink is up there in there"
IN NUMBER 43....Zoe had been staring at Sharon and Dennis snogging for the past few minutes. "Arghhhh!" she screamed, turned and threw her glass at the far wall, Sonia shrieked in fright. "Zoe!" Sonia jumped up and grabbed Zoe by the arms. "They're out there! In front of my flat! Rubbing my nose in it!" screamed Zoe. Sonia saw Dennis and Sharon's embrace below. "Look just ignore it Zoe!" Zoe broke free of Sonia's grip "No way! let go of me!" Zoe pushed Sonia out of the way and stormed out of the flat. "Zoe!!" Sonia shouted as she followed her out of the flat.
IN THE VIC.....Den grabbed Chrissie in a bid to calm her down. "Get your 'ands off me you swine!" she walked behind the bar "You say this is your dream for us Den? Well you know what, I don't really care about your dream!" as she said Chrissie's hand swiped a shelf of glasses, resultin gin in a deafening shattering of glass on the floor "I dont' care about your dream!" she picked up the baseball bat she noticed behind and swung it at a top shelf full of glasses, the shattering deafening.
OUTSIDE....Dennis and Sharon looked at each other in bemusement, just then a loud shattering of glass was heard coming from the pub. "Right, I'm going to check it out" Dennis took off toward the Vic. "Dennis! Dennis wait!" Sharon took after Dennis as they both ran toward the Vic.
Just then the door to Number 43 opened as Zoe stormed out "Oiiii!" she screamed after Sharon. Sharon appeared not to hear her, she saw both of them disappear into the Vic. "Right!" she gritted her teeth and headed toward the pub. Sonia ran out after her. "Zoe! come back!" As Sonia ran past number 45, Martin appeared at the door, he had heard Sonia and Zoe shouting from next door. "Sonia!!" Martin followed his wife in the direction of the pub.
THE QUEEN VIC..... "I don't care about any of this crap Den! This place means nothing to me and I am not going to be married to a man who punishes me for the crimes of his kids!" she pointed the bat at Den, as Dennis and Sharon came crashing through the door. "What the bleedin hell are you doing 'ere?" Den sneered at Dennis and his Princess. "Dad! whats going on? we heard glass smashing!" said Sharon. "Aah Princess you're here too, what a nice surprise. Although you do know its after hours. You trying to get me arrested?" "We just thought you might be in trouble" said Dennis "Oh and you tore yourself away from molesting yer sister to come and help your dear old Dad, ain't you a good boy" Den said sarcastically. "Chrissie!" Sharon walked up to the bar "Whats going on?" "Oh nothing Princess, me and my darlin wife we're having a late night chin wag, now if you'll excuse me, we dont open til half ten tomorrow morning"
Just then the door crashed open, a soaked, furious and drunk Zoe Slater barged in.
"How dare you!" she lunged at Sharon and grabbed her by the hair. The two women collapsed on the floor of the Vic, with Zoe digging her nails into Sharon's face. Dennis and Den trying to pull them apart. "Thought you were clever did ya! snogging mah fella right outside my window! You smarmy bitch I'll kill ya!" Zoe punched Sharon twice in the face. Dennis grabbed Zoe by the waist, Zoe kicked out at him and managed to kick him in the crotch.
Zoe grabbed off the bar "You touch me again I'll smash your 'ead open!" she threatened Dennis. Sharon struggled to her feet. "Zoe, I swear weren't rubbing your face in it darlin. Listen to me!" she pleaded. "Don't you darlin me! you evil cow, you've no idea how much I hate you!" Zoe screamed. She looked at Dennis. "How could you do this to me? Look! what you've done to me Dennis" she started to cry. Nobody noticed Sonia and Martin at the door the pub. "Where were all you lot when we were open tonight?" Den said sarcastially. "Oh shut up Den. Zoe darlin, I'll walk you home, come on" Chrissie gently took Zoe's arm. "Don't touch me, none of ya! You all knew about this and all of you pretended to my face" "Zoe come on, we'll walk ya home?" Sonia walked forward. "No! I want a drink! I fink I deserve a drink?" she looked at Den Dennis took Zoe's arm "Thats it you're goin 'ome!" "Gerrof me!!!" Zoe screamed and swung the bat, which flew from her hands and shattered glasses at the end of the bar.
Den grabbed Dennis "Let go of 'er you moron. Go on back to your sisters bed you pervert!" Dennis punched Den, sending him on his back. "No! Dennis, don't!"
All hell broke loose in the pub, outside the rain pours heavily as a bright blast of lightening lights up the entire Square, a lone figure stands, soaked to the bone, she doesn't feel the cold or the wet, she doesn't know how long she's been there. For a while her eyes stared directly at Number 45, the Fowlers. Her gaze now averted to the Queen Victoria pub.

"Martin.....my love...." she mutters.
THE VIC.....Den and Dennis had been torn apart. Martin struggled to keep hold of Den Jnr. Whilst Sonia held Zoe to stop her from attacking Sharon again, whilst Chrissie and Sharon both had Den. "Sonia get Zoe out of 'ere!" Martin said to his wife. "No I ain't going nowhere until this bitch has heard my news!" Zoe glared at Sharon, Dennis looked from Den to Zoe to Sharon, bemused. "I dont' care what you lot 'ave to say to each other. I want you all aut of mah pub before I call the police on the lot of ya!" "Police! thats rich, shut up Den!" Chrissie said "Zoe whatever it is it can wait. We're all a bit emotional right now" "This is you emotional is it?" Den said gesturing toward Chrissie's path of destruction behind the bar "God I'd hate to see you when you're really wound up. What do you do then? Murder someone?" "Yes Den thats right, but murdering is too good for you!"
Sonia tried leading Zoe to the door. But Zoe wouldnt' move. "Nah nah, she's going to 'ear this! This bitch finks she's won, well she ain't!" "Whatever it is Zoe, just say it and go home, you're a state!" replied Sharon. Zoe smiled "Yeh says the girl with busted lip, find her attractive now do ya Dennis?" "I could have two 'eads darlin, and he'd still come back to me everytime! Zoe went to lunge again but Sonia had a firm grip on her.
Outside in the drenched Square, a black taxi arrived outside the Queen Vic. The door opened and a very familiar face stepped out. Her coat already drenched. "'Ere you go darlin, keep the change" she smiled to the cabbie.
She looked up at the pub as thunder rumbled overhead. She wondered why the lights were still on at this time of night. She looked around her, at the Square, all lights off, most sane people were asleep by now probably. She gazed around. She stared at Number 23, the Slaters. She picked up her bag and began to walk in that direction. Suddenly a flash of lightening lit up the entire Square, followed by a loud crash of thunder. She jumped as she thought she saw a figure in the park, near Arthurs Bench. Just then she heard a lot of shouting coming from inside the pub. Something was definitely a miss here.
INSIDE THE VIC....The stand off between Zoe, Sharon, Dennis, Den and Chrissie was still going on. Martin and Sonia Fowler had somehow gotten caught up in it all.
"Yeh but I've somink that you'll never be able to give him" Zoe gloated at Sharon. The door at the far end of the pub opened slowly. Nobody noticed. "You 'ave nuffink Zoe. Now just go 'ome and get over it. Dennis with me now!" Sharon turned to leave. "I'm pregnant!" Zoe shouted as Sharon turned her back to her "You're what!" cried Dennis, as Sharon slowly turned to face Zoe, stunned at Zoe's revelation.
"YOU'RE PREGNANT!" cried a voice from the other end of the bar. The group looked around in surprise. Zoe turned and her face became a mask of shock, as she stared at her Mother for the first time in months.
KAT MOON walked slowly toward the stunned group.
"You're pregnant?!" she repeated. She looked around the pub, noticing the shattered glass everywhere.
"Kat" Zoe began. "What are you all doin in 'ere? Where's Alfie? What the 'ell has been going on?" cried Kat

EastEnders
Once Upon A Stormy Night part 2
The Queen Victoria, Albert Square, Walford. Over the years this pub had played host to some of Walford's most dramatic and violent scenes. Tonight, on a night where you'd think nobody would be venturing out, it was playing host to a showdown between women scorned, estranged family members and two people who just found themselves caught in the middle. Finally, a returning familiar face.
Zoe and Kat stared at each other for what seemed like an eternity. Kat had just minutes ago stepped back in Albert Square for the first time since her split from Alfie. She had no idea what had been going on with Zoe. Well they'd kept in touch through phone calls and texts, but she'd no idea of the trials and tribulations her daughter was going through, and now she'd just walked in on a bombshell being dropped. All eyes were on Kat.
Kat: "Well? aint' nobody gonna tell me what the 'ell is goin 'ere?" Kat broke her gaze, to look at Martin, to Sonia, then to Chrissie, to Sharon, to Dennis and finally to Den. A sly grin spread across Den's face. "Whatchu grinnin at?" Den: "What? a man can't grin in his own pub?" replied Den in mock surprise. Kat: "You what?" Den: "You heard"
Kat looked at Den in surprise, two bombshells. Where was Sam? Where was Alfie and Nana? She looked to Zoe who hadn't said anything. "Come on Zo, we're getting out of 'ere, its obvious we need to talk" Kat took Zoe's arm. Zoe shrugged away from Kat Zoe: "Get your 'ands off me. You didn't give a stuff about me for the past six months so dont' start now. Just cause you're back, nothings changed!" Kat: "Zoe we sorted all this aut!" Zoe "Yeh, but I'll decide when my I want anything to do wiv you!" Kat: "You're pregnant!" Zoe smiles "Yeh! congratulations Kat, you're gonna be Walfords most glamourous granny? Well, tartiest granny anyway"
Den: "Whilst I love nothing more than a nice family reunion, this pub is closed and you lot shouldn't be 'ere. I want you all out of 'ere right now!" Sharon looked at Zoe "Oh dont' worry Dad, I'm going, I've heard quite enough tonight from this crazy bitch to last me a lifetime. You say you're pregnant with Dennis's baby, well I want proof" Zoe: "Oh you'll get proof Sharon, you'll get more proof than you can 'andle" Kat: "Wait a minute! Are you telling me you're wiv Dennis?" Zoe: "Thats right Kat, I forgot you missed out on all the excitement, Sharon nicking mah fella, but I've got somink she'll never 'ave" she smiled Sharon exploded "I didn't steal him! He. Didn't. Love. You Zoe!!! You were a cheap substitute for me and by god when I say cheap I mean it in every sense of the bloody word!" Sharon shook with fury. Kat stepped forward and grabbed Sharon "Don't you talk to 'er like thatt!" Zoe pulled her mother away from Sharon. Zoe: "No, leave it Kat, Sharon and Dennis have a lot to talk about I'm sure. I'm finished 'ere" Den: "Oh thank god for that, for a minute there I thought I'd stepped into Jerry Springer!" Den looked at Dennis and Sharon and growled "No you two, get aut of mah pub! The sight of the pair of ya makes me sick!"
Dennis stared his Dad in the eyes: "To think I came over here tonight to see if you were ok. Den: "Aww well aint' you a sweet little boy, now you can do me another favour, get the hell out of my face and my pub" Dennis backed off. Sharon was in the corner shaking, tears in her eyes. Kat turned to Sonia and Martin "Cor, never a dull moment raund 'ere is it?" Den: "Right everybody aut! before I call the police!" Den held the door open and gestured them out. The rain had stopped. Zoe stormed out first, followed by Sonia and Martin. Kat stopped to look at Den. Kat: "Since when did you own this place?" Den: "I never stopped owning this place darlin, the Moons and Mitchells were simply keeping it warm" Kat: "Yeh, and what price did they all have to pay when you decided to move back in eh?" Den "Goodnight Kat" Kat shot him a nasty look and walked outside the pub. Zoe had disappeared.
OUTSIDE IN THE SQUARE
Martin: "What the 'ell just went on over there?" Sonia: "I dunno, but a feud between the Slaters and the Watts is not something I wanna get involved in" Martin put his arm around his wife "Come on Saint Sonia, your mission for tonight is over" Sonia giggled "Oi you, less of the Saint" they stopped to kiss outside their home "Lets go up stairs, I'll show you how naughty I can be" as the pair rushed inside, Albert Square was quiet again. A blonde girl who had been watching the comings and goings in the Square that night, drenched to the bone and freezing, walked slowly out of the park toward the Fowlers house. This is where her my lover lives, she thought.
IN THE VIC... the place was still a tip. It was now well past closing time but the punters hadn't quite dispersed as quickly as Den would have liked. Sharon Watts had just had her world blown apart by a bombshell dropped by her lovers ex girlfriend. They had gone through turmoil to get together but finally Sharon had Dennis had made it, or so she thought. She had even sacrificed Den, her dead father of 14 years come back to life. to be with him. Now, she sat in the Queen Vic, a place with so many ghosts and bad memories, this was just another one to add to the pile. Dennis walked over to her. Dennis: "Sharon please, lets just go home" Sharon "Don't touch me Dennis, just leave me alone" Dennis "Dont' be like this Sharon, I didnt' know she was gonna get herself pregnant" Sharon looked at him with fury "Get herself pregnant? Did it all on her own did she? Quick, someone call the Vicar, we've had an immaculate concpetion right here in Walford!" she forced a laugh. Dennis: "I'm sorry Sharon, I dont' know what to say" Dennis looked at the floor. Sharon "You dont' have to say anything Dennis, its probably all lies anyway" Dennis "What? I've never lied to you Sharon, I love you!" he put his hands on her shoulders. Sharon shrugged him off "Get off me!"
Den came back down the stairs to hear Sharon and Dennis arguing. He walked into the bar to find Sharon standing at the bar crying. Dennis looking pathetic like he always did in these types of situations, so like me he thought. He walked over to Sharon. "Princess" Sharon looked up at her father "Oh Dad!" Sharon broke down on Den's shoulder. Den threw Dennis and icy stare. Dennis "Sharon please, come home and we can sort this out" Sharon looked at Dennis "Sort what out? You're going to be a father Dennis. You and Zoe, you're tied together for the rest of your lives, whether you like it or not" Dennis "Sharon please! it shouldn't change anything. We can still be together. We'll move away. Lets get out of Walford" Den "You think I'm going to let my Princess go off with you? She aint' going nowhere son, you're going to be a father, the least you can do is have the decency to stay around and live up to your responsibilties" Dennis exploded and grabbed Den "What like you you mean! You stayed around for me did ya! Like you've been around for Sharon? and Vicki? Dead for 14 years and then all of a sujdden you're father of the year?!" Dennis had Den by the scruff of the neck, he swung him around and Den went over a table, knocking glass to the floor. Sharon "Dennis no!" but Dennis was in a full blown cold rage. He launched at Den and punched him hard in the face, twice, three times. Sharon screamed and pleaded with Dennis to stop. Chrissie ran down into the bar.
"What the hell is going on?" she ran over and grabbed Dennis's hair and pulled him up off his father. Dennis struggled and pushed Chrissie, who fell and hit her head hard against the bar. Den punched Dennis into the face hard and knocked him down to the ground Sharon "Dad no! leave it! Stop it please!" Den looked at his daughter and stopped. He walked over to help his wife up Sharon "You'd better go before I call the police!" she said to Dennis. Dennis "You've changed your tune, he was the devil not two hours ago!" he pointed at Den. Sharon "Yeh, well he didnt' just get Zoe Slater pregnant, he didnt' sleep with someone else whilst he was with me. You said you were finished Dennis! You weren't supposed to be sleeping together but you can't help yourself can ye? It was there so you just had do to have it. I thought you loved me, I really did" Dennis "I do Sharon, please!" Sharon "Get out Dennis......We're finished" Sharon stared hard into Dennis's eyes. Dennis "Just like that?" Sharon "Just like that yeh"
Chrissie "Just get out Dennis please!" Chrissie winced as her head pounded. Den just stared at Dennis. Dennis slowly turned and walked out of the pub. The cold air making him a bit dizzy. It was just madness. All of it. IN the space of an hour or so, his life had been turned upside down again. He walked into the Square, sat down on Arthurs bench and sobbed. The lights went out in the Vic.

THE SLATERS...... Big Mo "Blimey, you pick your hours dontcha, ever heard of a phone call or a text message to say you was coming home at all hours?" Kat "Oh charmin, great to see you an all Nan" Charlie "Are you alright love?" Kat "I'm fine Dad yeah. I just wanted to come 'ome. Wow! It is brilliant so far... Keep it going. That "Coming up" bit at the end is really puzzling as well. I wonder what "Sam's storm" will be?
