This past month or so if I hit 'post message', I get a Windows error message. I have to hit the back button and post it again. Sometimes I get double posts and have to delete one but not always.
Is this happening to anyone else?

It could be a site bug. It's happened to me a few times in the past but for a while though.

It has happened to me before, but I've always put it down to connection problems rather than it being this site itself. It always happens to me on Digital Spy though. Not the forum part, but the main site itself. The page will start loading, with part of it appearing. Then suddenly that'll stop and the Windows Error message pops up.
When I hit back it works probably 3/4's of the time, but sometimes it'll half-load again before going to Windows Error page. It does my head in at times though, all the hitting the "back" button.
I've blamed my problems with DS on their advertising, not for any reason but just for the sake of blaming something. But then again, if that was what was causing it then why is everything usually fine for me here?

There's one forum I used to go to which has that many pop-ups as soon as you went there it would send my blockers into a frenzy and crash my windows.

Sometimes when I make a new thread and sometimes when I hit reply. Last night was dreadful. I had to hit the back button quite a few times. Touch wood, everything seems fine today  |

I just updated my anti virus (Eset Nod 32) and they found nothing untowards. Must be just one of those things.

Sometimes I've posted something and the screen just goes white and the bar is stuck. So I go back and do it again only to then find it already went up. I suppose it's really just one of those very annoying things. Technology makes me mad as it's meant to make life easier but just makes you tear your hair out. LOL!

Am I the only one who's had trouble getting on tonight? I know everything was fine earlier but when I tried after 9pm the home page would get so far then stop. Any posts made since then have been via the phone and that's been sluggish too. I am wondering if it's my connection or the Internet in general. I've had trouble with some websites for hours while others are working perfectly. Any ideas?

I had a bit of trouble last night too Pats. Some pages would get the Windows error. And those that didn`t get the error was just so slow - more like dial up than broadband.

I was still having trouble earlier with the same sites as yesterday. I did a post and it got up as far as the banner then stopped. Then about 2.45pm everything was working normally again so it could have been my ISP (though no email from them) and only affected certain sites. I thought it was a bit quiet on here when I looked via the phone. How is it today for you?

LOL! Maybe it was a general Internet thing then. Although Amy didn't have any problems and could access sites I couldn't. Gets weirder and weirder.
