its driving me mad..Tracey and her scheming against Steve..any fool could see what a deranged madwoman she is...and all this Baldwin 'family' business,,its absolutley ridiculous...Mike is an ONLY child always has been, always will be,him and his dad Frankie used to talk about in the 80's..all this talk of a brother,Harry is absolute nonsense...its all driving me to despair..I can't believe 6 months ago I was praising the Street to the hilt...and how quickly it had slid down the slope into the mire !!
its as if the shoddy writers are treating the audience like imbeciles with no memory

Me neither. I sent a very angry and fairly long complaint to the duty office before coming on here. I mentioned how TPTB never listen to viewer opinions and I'll lay you 6/4 by the bog-standard reply I get it proves it. LOL! Deirdre knew Tracy was lying but said nothing. In the good old days she would have. KF's acting was the WORST tonight. I also told them in the complaint to watch the new DVDs to learn how it should be done and 5 is too much since they're struggling to fill 2 scripts decently.

I did have quite a rant, Nick but I'm past caring now. I also complained they go round in circles and quoted Shelley and Charlie's dialogue for months which was all of 2 lines. LOL! Maybe you should have a rant at them too. Patsy

Richard? Jump off a you stupid lame excuses for writers? Haven't a clue. I'm presuming it's Danny's mum's brother. Past caring especially with Danny now being another of Mike's sprogs. I'm fed up with this. Susan Barlow had an abortion! There is no Adam. She was a selfish cow so WOULD have gone through with it.

There's always Mark - he's Mike's son, and could come back, albeit with the head hanging in shame. Why make up all this other desperate nonsense to give Mike Baldwin a son and heir? And what would have happened if all these secret children had been girls? Would he wanna know them?

oh you will be all joining me with the off button at 7:30 then soon ;-)
I think they should of had Linda haiving a kid with Mike and Mark turns up with it if Linda wouldn't come back saying she had dumped it on him, so leaving Penny and Mike to pick up the pieces.
Linda's exit was not realistic, the excuses for her not coming back were out o fcharacter. However it could of been explained by her being with Mark or pregnant with his baby and not wanting Mike near it. Even if it didn't come back now it could of been a charadcter for the future. What a waste. However a child with Linda would be more plausable than Danny being Mike's son when he didn't have a brother.
They made a big deal out of Linda and Mike's last night of passion, even having her the next day making comments about feeling different etc. Then Mark threw a spoke in the works and the rest was history.

Yes. As I've said before, end of next year and if it's still as crap, that's it for me, Barbara Knox or no Barbara Knox. Getting rid of the grin queen it might be a vast improvement for starters!

Mind you in all fairness Jacqueline Chadwick left suddenly without finishing the storyline,so they had to hastily re write the scripts

That's true. Wasn't it complications in her pregnancy? Did you email the duty office, Nick? I got the usual, "Your comments have been forwards to Coronation Street" last night and I'm waiting to see if I get the same old, "We hope you continue to enjoy Coronation Street" as well as, "We're sorry you dislike Kate Ford. Your comments have been passed onto the producer and casting" (or some such codswallop they sent as standard).
