This is the place for all of you KF fans and I know she does have some out there. Here you can post free of anyone telling you otherwise. If you like her then say so. If you think her acting is the best thing since sliced bread then say so because no one is going to tell you differently.

She does have a few out there and our feedback does suggest that some are sick of having to read complaints always and of being frightened of being slated for liking her. This thread is an anti-Kate free zone so please feel free to report if any nasty ones do creep in here. It works both ways though the complainees should not go into the anti Kate thread and expect not to be offended or condemn them for not liking her. |

Mind you Lane you have been less harsh on Kate Ford than some people I get sick of it too Jez believe it or not. I think her acting is fair game and sometimes she is okayish. However I don't know Kate as a person and she could well be lovely. I just don't find it my place to comment on her looks as it is each to their own. And I don't know what she is like. People can only go on what is put before them in interviews and her acting. However I really don't like it when people start assuming things about her or threads go round and round in circles. People will never agree on Kate Ford and it gets frustrating. |

I will admit it-I do not mind Kate Ford. I was one of the ones getting fed up of reading all of the negative posts about her in every thread. I do not like the character of Tracy, but I don't think you are supposed to like Tracy as she is supposed to play a bitch! |

oh now I love the character of Tracy but then I always have liked a good bitch. I think they have made her too nasty at times. A good bitch needs also to have vulnerabilities and I haven't seen any in Tracy #4. I think they have tried to but it doesn't seem to work. She still seems out and out bad to me, rotten to the core and OTT and that's where they have gone slightly wrong because even Fred West had a nice side to him. However I still find the character of Tracy a lot of fun and whatever I may or may not think of Kate Ford I do at times get a bit sick of reading the same arguiments. People will never agree about her hence why it seemed right she had a fan area and an area for people to complain so the rest of the place could be spared a bit.

I love Kate ford and Tracey!!!!
She's a fantastic actress and her current storyline about the custody battle with Amy is brilliant. I've always thought that Simon Gregson and Kate gel really well toggether though I think if Surranne makes a return it would be alt more compelling!

People are welcome to their opinion of course but it did get tiring. she isnt the best of actresses and even I have changed my view on her after seeing her performance in one particular episode but I still dont mind her. I do think she is better at playing the bitch, she does those scenes quite well, its when she does other scenes she isnt as good. |

Ive just been reading my All About Soap magazine. Kate Ford was asked the question what is her best asset? She replied that her best asset is going out and having lots and lots of fun. She thinks she is a very sociable person and loves to be surrounded by her friends. She adds that she can get on with anybody!

Coronation Street star Kate Ford is dating a young doctor.
The actress, who plays scheming Tracy Barlow, was introduced to brain specialist Sam Orde by friends. The pair appeared in public together for the first time on Friday night, to celebrate Granada Television's 45th anniversary in Manchester.
"Kate is very, very happy. She's clearly fallen for Sam in a big way," a show source told The People. "They always stay in touch even when their work keeps them apart. He's a really nice bloke and thinks the world of her. Kate had been single for a long time and likes to keep her private life to herself but she's clearly smitten with Sam.
"She's nothing like her TV character. Tracy is a right slapper but Kate is a lovely down-to-earth girl. She's waited until the right man came along - and it looks like Sam might be the one."

you need to go to wap.itv.com on your mobile phone I think? Doesn't work on the internet from your computer only your phone. If you have a G3 or Wap enabled phone. There's a whole corrie section exlcusive to mobiles. They are doing features of histories of the houses at the moment. In one section. They have all the videos that are on the interactive but they have them archived back and there are other bits. Under the wallpaper there is a whole list of corrie characters and one of them is Tracy. So I suppose it will be Kate Ford. |

I forgot to post this the other day but Kate was asked in All About Soap what she is going on Valentine's Day. Her reply was "Im not really sure yet - but im hoping that i'll be buried under a mound of Valentine's cards!"
No mention of her boyfriend then.
