Er.... I have to admit I only watched the first one and in that she seemed a spare part despite the hype. Did she have more to do in the second series? Do you know what the ratings were like for that? I heard they weren't too good either but I don't know if it flopped.

Sorry Pats, I only saw the first series when it was showed on BBC-America. I don`t know if BBC-A have plans for series 2. And I don`t know what the ratings were for Vincent in the UK and the US Sorry  It used to bug me to death the way the announcer would call him Ray Win-stone at the start of the show rather than Winstun as we`d pronounce it. After all he wouldn`t call WW2 PM 'Win-stone" Churchill would he!!! |

I`m not really into crime dramas either Jez. But wouldn`t you know it, there are 2 things on at 9pm tonight that look good...... The Virgin Queen on PBS, a crime drama with (the brilliant) Julie Walters on BBC-America called 'The Return'. I`ve seen The Virgin Queen before though Isn`t that always the way though! Nowt decent on telly over Christmas/New Year and then 2 good things on at the same time!!! |

I didn`t like Jason Turner at all....I thought his acting was rubbish. Sal though I thought was lovely.
