Didn't put a date because I thought we could just put our comments here nstead of endless threads.
Anyway, for the first time since 2 years ago I switched off before it started. I asked my mum to let me know if Barbara was in it or not.

Not Barbara. It was a pretty rubbish episode overall. Too much scooter and Steve/Tracy.

I haven't decided yet if I'll watch Sunday's. I only decided when Emmerdale finished to switch the TV off. After seeing the older eps where it was far superior, sitting through current is more painful that that pain I had this morning.

So I suppose I`m the only one who noticed then that the tax disk on the Streetcars taxi that Steve was driving expired for over a year ;D. Oops i take that back....04/06 is the British way of doing the dates huh. For a minute there, I thought the year was 04/06 June 04. I`ve been in the US too long ;D Patsy I hope you get to watch Corrie on the omnibus, it was an ok episode - especially at the end.

Hubby has been trying to watch the omnibus but one of the cats decided to bring a bird in while the other is on heat. So he has been distracted.
I've still given up until I hear Steve Frost takes over it, Penny is axed, Tracy recast, Kelly axed and they rethink their Mike Baldwin plans. However hell will freeze over first before that all happens. So I guess that is that.

Well it makes a change for no Charlie and Shelley. Pity there was no Tracy and Steve too.

I know Mike B is getting on a bit, but he still has the most wonderful smile - it lights up his whole face. Fred on the other hand had a face like a smacked backside, and who can blame him having to work behind the bar when Shelley was sat on her backside as usual.

He does. It compensates for losing his hair. LOL!
Seriously, I hate what they're doing to him with the forgetfulness and now this 'brother' and 'nephew' being another long-lost sprog, I'm beginning to despair.

Sounds like you are up to late 2003 episodes as Cilla arrived around Oct/Nov 2003 and Tracy was pregnant at around this time. Has she told Steve yet? Has Peter Barlow left yet?

They always used to be about two years behind.
I've just gone and looked on the visual update site and according to them on Friday 12th August Australia had Wednesday 5th November 2003

Watched Corrie for the first time since the end of May last night (Sunday 14th). I wanted to see if it was really as bad as people were saying. It wasn't as bad as people have been saying but it wasn't good either IMHO.
Sunita and Dev were predictable and boring as was Kelly (who until reading someone's post on a group I'd forgotten she was even in it). Maria whining was predictable. Shelly and Charlie been there before (and I haven't even watched for nearly 3 months, I kid you not).
The Baldwin meal bar Frankie was absolutely dreadful. It was some of the worst stuff ever. It seemed its only purpose was to make Mike feel uncomfortable (and that wasn't done well) and to build up to the end with Vera. All the stuff with Mike was badly done and Penny was as pointless and as annoying as ever. At least Pauline Flemming appeared to be attempting to act this time. She is better than Kate Ford I change my mind. But there isn't much in it. Kelly's better than both of them but still not much in it.
I liked Mike and Frankie together outside. It came from nowhere but they make a nice couple ;-)
My husband says I'm over-reacting about Mark but I don't know I don't trust them. I think there are history changes a foot there. Why was Frankie so sorry about him?
2/10 purely for Frankie.
