Some strange workshop place that mad Maya smashed her car into before getting hit by a truck (The green room in real life apparently).
I've still fond memories or Terry and Curly underneath those arches. That black one just looks so fake.

You don't even see the black viaduct next to the Rovers on the first shot of the opening credits..then suddenly it appears in the next shot!!..I remember when the old viaduct suddenly was blocked in with a shop..nobody even mentioned it !!...and it used to lead through to Jubilee Terrace !!

Because they're trying to turn it into EE for the north. EE was Brookie for the south and we all know what happened to that.

Frisky? I wonder what's happened to him? He was a few years old when picked in 1989.
Really? When? Barbara's 3 on the 18th November.

LOL! I hadn't thought of that about Tracy. Great description. Let's call her The Grinch in future! ;D
Sonia's left. Janice is off. Craig stayed for some reason and he's the worst of the Harrises.

He might have. LOL Peter! I'd also axe the pillock who standardised ITV credits. Patsy It always amazes me that Emmerdale's end credits are not standardised. Is this a Granada Yorkshire thing for all their programmes or just Emmerdale? Is the standardisation just Granada Manchester or all of ITV? I don't watch enough TV to tell.

All of Granada Yorkshire's programmes seem to have "proper" ends credits, Lane. Although I dont watch it occasionally ive seen the end credits of Heartbeat and The Royal have proper end credits. Programmes made by Granada Manchester or Granada London or anywhere else seem to have the standard ITV credits but sometimes have different colours.

The text and layout are standardised across the board. Bloody daft. As daft as all these clone crime dramas!

The TV Times does a weekly 'You Like...' and 'You Don't Like...' section. This week:
You Like: Corrie's Shelley finally dumping Charlie at the altar - YES!
You Don't Like: Coronation Street's silly storylines - the pig, the fox, daft Diggory and the ludicrous double-exposed photo.

Tiptwo is 3 on Thanksgiving day in the US ...the last Thursday in November - the 24th. That`s her actual Birthday. Her other 'Birthday', the day we found her abandoned at the state park is December 29th. So Tiptwo has 2 Birthdays like the Queen ;D RIP Frisky (if its true)

Who I'd like to get rid of (on a cold morning with a slight hangover, I'm more genorous when I'm in a better mood):
Charlie - obviously!
The Platts including Phil and Audrey - moaners, doom and gloom.
Maria and Tyrone - haven't had a storyline for yonks, that crap kennels business hardly counts.
Molly and Diggory Compton - he was an embaressment even before the Yule Ball breakdown, Molly looks and sounds like a Furbee.
Yana Lumb - one Cilla on the street is enough, we don't need to suffer her mate as well.
Betty Turpin - even if the sacred secret of her famous hotpot dies with her. The Rovers can start doing microwave lasagne like every other pub in the world.
Tracy and Deirdre Barlow - no future for either of them. But Blanche, the prototype can stay - she has earned her grey hair.
Dev - sleazy, shouty and sarcastic. If the CSA tried to feed his details into their computer it would melt.
The Duckworths - Jack and Vera seem to have run out of steam. Surely their numerous and far-flung grandchildren are now old enough to make an independant entrance?
Bev Unwin and Liz Macdonald (and any of their beaux) - pair of desperate randy old harpies.
Ronnie Clayton - why does Steve always attract trouble?
Factory twins - being non-identical and un-dateable is not a storyline.
Janice Battersby - total gargoyle.
Leanne - no depth, just a tart.
The Baldwins - Street residents should be investigated by a psychologist, as they are all experiencing a mass-hallucination. Mike's desire for a bigger family has manifest itself in optical illusions in the form of Danny, Frankie, Jamie & Warren Baldwin and Adam Barlow, and other people can see them too. Spooky.
The Websters - temporary reprieve, they have improved recently.
Kelly - see the Websters.

The Duckies have a typically daft storyline now with the batty artist woman. It's a bit contrived but I did like Jack's line about being 'symbolic naked'! Nick Tilsley also posed for a Life Drawing Class and suffered the inevitable ear- bashing/misunderstanding/accusations from the missus. Where's the originality?
