I hope Shane Ritchie chokes on his award for best male actor. Best male actor my ar$e...he`s just playing himself...and badly at that.
But to beat Bradley Walsh for best actor is a double kick in the teeth. Acting wise, Ritchie isn`t fit to lick Bradleys boots.

LOL! I must admit Bradley is better. I was watching EE last night and Shane was pretty dire. The problem with these awards is people vote for either who they fancy or becuase they're in their fave soap rather than for their acting skills. I was glad Kacey Ainsworth never won because she's awful. How does she win so many?

Since Kacey Ainsworth came back, from what I've seen she hasn't been that good, but with the whole Trevor thing especially the scene where she gives him what for in the burning house is excellent and i'm not Eastenders fan.
Who else was up for best actor award?

The point is how the HELL do they win acting awards? They're not that much better than KF - especially Kacey Ainsworth.

JW and KA from EE used to win acting awards, when they were good. But now the problem is that they've been told they are brilliant and been told they are "the stars of the show" too many times. This has went to their heads and caused them not to bother with putting in a good performance any more. Shane Richie is the same.
Another thing I hate is the way the newspapers portray the awards ceremonies:
Apparently somebody from Eastenders said something like "they've had a brilliant year, while ours wasn't as good but we still win the awards."
A Corrie 'insider' then said "It's just not fair. The vote must have been rigged."
Do we care which "insider" set what? Answer is no!!!

LOL! That's very true, Eithne. It's a shame really Corrie especially have become so arrogant. Doesn't help they keep being voted for when they don't deserve it. Less awards means they get their acts together. And Sally Lindsay has been watching KA's meek performances and copying now.
