Someone was posting saying they should get rid of the Corner Shop, coz they dont exist anymore (mmm whats that place on my street corner) also the cobbles were silly coz they dont exist iin real life (urm yeah they do) plus the Corner shop was home to the first ever scene on the street!!!!

While the layout of Coronation Street is unrealistic like having a smelly garage in a residential street, corner shops still just about exist. Not as common as they once were but there are some around. Does this person think Tesco invented shops? Cobbles?  Wher the hell do they live? I think they're more a northern thing but Europe is full of cobbled streets and very pretty they are too. Patsy |

I used to live near cobbled streets, they are protected by Heritage like Coronation Street is Also I read a thread about the ITV2 logo (up in the corner) being turned green (which I didnt notice until 3/4th of the way through the Emmerdale ominibus, they said I wish my (Several) bans were lifted so I could explain I think they look a lot nicer, and make channels more coulorful (Rant over)  |

I hate logos in the corner. We know what channel we're watching. I also hate the 'Coming Next' thing. We already know that too.
First time I experienced cobbled streets was in the Czech Republic 12 years ago. Boy that was bouncy driving over them. LOL!

people dont realise the coulored logos up in the corner are for copyright reasons, before it was seethrough and easy to edit out

Copyright doesn't matter to most people. The main four channels don't have the logo.
