Right this is bound to top my last post in here which is to do with Charlie Stubbs. Everytime I try to get back into Corrie I am greeted by some character that is almost enough to put me right off, first Charlie, now David.

This kid to me, looks as gormless as it is possible to be and still be alive. That hair of his is ridiculous, I'd rather it all shaved off than wore like that. Its just his attitude the way he is with everybody.

If he were to perch on top of a church you could easily mistake him for a gargoyle or something. He is such a gloomy looking pillock. No offense to the actor, thats how he is meant to be for the role, but Oh my god! He is like a wet weekend. But personally I feel my gargoyle description is more apt.

Why does Gail put up with this behaviour? He was not the only one who went through it with Richard Hillman, so why is he behaving like this, personally, he needs a good shaking.

I couldn't agree more, Mrs Demigod - the character of David is unattractive.
I remember seeing the actor at one of the soap awards and he was a bespectacled little boy with a side parting and a very serious look on his face and wearing a brown suit - nothing like David at all.

I agree with most of what you have said. Gail is totally stupid to fall for David's lies

I don`t know who I want to shake some sense into more... David or Gail.
Please writers...please don`t pair that beautiful girl Amber with the gormless lazy swine that is David Pratt..er Platt
You know who David reminds me of in character? Jason Grimshaw when he was a teen. what a lazy leeching swine he was too

This is it, David Platt is going too far! Gail needs the shaking really as well, he may be her son but she doesn't have to put up with that! David Platt is a very unlikable person and Gail ought to get tough with him before its too late. Especially now that Martin is not in the immediate area to help control him.

I can't say I have seen a lot of David prior to this, but from what I have learnt he is quite stale as a character, not very interesting.

until yesterday i didn't think any mum with a child like David would be so soft, that is until i found out about my neighbors daughter she is in the same year & school as my daughter, last Wednesday this girl was caught bringing & drinking alcohol at school 9.00am in the morning, quite rightly the school suspended her for 3 days, what did the mum do reward her with a puppy!!!!
she has already been expelled from one school & all this age just 13, not to go off the David subject i read that Gail is going to buy him a expensive mobile phone as she has been so impressed with all his hard work.beggars belief
