It aint what I'd call fantastic but its a time filler between blue murder on ITV 3 and then Bad Girls (s1) which I never actually got to see.

I think it will improve. I think the first episode was taken up with introducing us to the characters ( and there seem to be a lot )
It was written by the chap that wrote 'Cold Feet' and 'Life Begins' so it should improve.

To be honest i thought it was rubbish..predictable,cliched...its like drama by numbers.....a bit of this,a bit of that..mix it all together...and i'm not that keen on Rik Mayall..he always comes across to me as a bit bigheaded.i remember him in the 80's when he was all anti capitalism anti government anti showbiz..and now he lives in a big house in berkshire or somewhere mixing with all the showbiz glitterati...

I could see parts of Rik from The Young Ones in his performance last night.

I was thinking of Mine All Mine last night and the stuff calling that boy gay. Isn't that what RTD did in Mine All Mine?

WEll I stuck it to the end and wished I'd watched Spooks instead. But we recorded Spooks. Then on to ITV3 until 1:30 from 10.
Anyway it wasn't dreadful but the opening scene I thought here we go seen it all before. Perhaps I'm just getting old?
The family photograph in the opening two minutes. Well who didn't guess that when the timer didn't go off, theminute he moved it would?
The gay conversation was annoying as it went on way too long and again seemd to be something we seen all before and that daughter just was a pain. The friend seemed okay.
Fairly predictable about the older daughter, however I think she had more going for her than the rest of them put together would be a reason to watch again.
Getting his wife's anniversary wrong. Yawn. How many times have we seen something like that.
The Granny being thrown out of the home. Again so predictable we knew that was going to happen somehow the minute she started to complain about her room. Didn't need any spoilers to guess that.
By 10pm I thought I'm either getting too old or it was a let down.
Mine All Mine started off good but went down hill. This has started off mediocre. I love Spooks so I may just watch that next week and forget all about this. There again might record Spooks and give this another go.
Liked the stepson and liked the eldest daughter. The ex-wife reminds me of someone who is she? The younger daughter badly written. Her best friend could be one to watch. Wife and RM didn't really have an opinion on.

There again might record Spooks and give this another go. Record All about George, then you can fast forward through the adverts. ;D

I haven't bothered with this since episode 1 and stuck with Spooks and am pleased to see that Spooks has been beating All About George these past two weeks and done a thread on it with last night's ratings.

I think Spooks is great, and I really like the new operative Jo Portman.

I like them all in Spooks and think it is so clever how they have replaced virtually all the original cast and it is working. Can't believe another main character is about to die though. I won't spoil it and say who. I'm hoping they are really alive and have gone undercover. There's been too much death.
