Did anyone see sundays one off episode of the Royle Family..??
The writing, the cast in fact everything was superb.
I was laughing one minute and crying the next
The scenes where Nana died had me sobbing my heart out !!..I suppoose it took me back to when my own Nan died in 1994 and then my mum died in 2000.
If this dosen't get some awards there is something wrong...it knocks Extra's and Little Britain into a cocked hat
and its good to see caroline Aherne back on top after her troulbes..welcome back Caroline
does anyone know who sang the version of the song Scarlet ribbons featured in the show?

It was lovely to see the Royale Family back.Caroline is great writer.t was funny and very sad, had a weep when Nanna passed away it was so true to life, and I was so pleased when the new baby was named Norma,There are nt many of us these days.I hope someone will know who sang Scarlet Ribbons it was so lovely. My late Dad used to sing it to us when we were young.

It was really good, and so was the discussion programme about it on after the news. Who would have though JK Rowling was such a huge fan - seeing as her own material is total fantasy rather than true life?
It was good seeing the old clips featuring Corrie's own Andrew Whyment and Sally Ann Lindsay before they became household names.

Did anyone see last nights Christmas special..??..We thought it was excellent and good to see Anthony having more to do this year after only appearing briefly at the beginning of last Christmasses episode and not appearing at all in the one before that !!

Yes, it was great. Some great LOL moments, like when the urns were lined up on the telly and Jim asked 'What time is Vincent Price turning up?'
And when Denise couldn't go to the school nativity play because she was waiting on the DNA results on Jeremy Kyle.
