Go on Sheelagh ;D Did anyone see Bernie singing on Abbamania 2? Wow she was wicked! By far the best singer on the show. Never heard her sing before but she was really good  Isn't she supposed to have finished a new album to release in the not to distant future? Also Marilyn was on there too  but she didn't have much to sing on her own. |

I didn't see it but she has had loads of practice from being in The Nolans all those years ago. No idea about an album though.

I'm not 100% sure. I just feel like I've read it somewhere. Can't remember where though. Mind you, that would explain her absence. As she's hardly been in it lately  |

She also had that heavy Des storyline and losing the baby. That was all so sad. I remember when i read she was joining Brookie I had my doubts, even though I'd given up watching it years before. But she is a brilliant actress.

But when you watch the old and current soaps, you soon come to see that almost everyone has been in everything, LoL  What was that storyline you mentioned in? The Bill or Brookie? |

LOL! That's very true, Lori. It's amazing who pops up when you least expect it.
It was The Bill when Sheelagh had her affair with Des and got pregnant. Then Des went on the run thinking she'd told it was him who firebombed the station and then the baby died.

She was good the other day standing her ground against whistleblower Leela Kapoor, wasn't she?

Yeah, but I think my sniff of news about her singing career could be true. It would explain for her lack of appearances in the programme. She's hardly ever in it these days.

I must say that I personally thought that Abba Mania 2 was crap, but Bernie Nolan and the Holyoaks girls were the stars of the show!
I only think its crap because i remember Abba Mania 1 and that had class and was enjoyable, i found the latest one a bit tacky and tasteless
