Anyone else heard about 3 actors not having their contracts renewed (Mark Wingett and the actors playing Rob Thatcher and Ken Drummond)? I read it one of the TV mags but only there. I hope it's not true. Though Rob has to go due to all this stuff against Okaro. But I can't see why the other 2 are being sacked, especially Mark.

Yes it is true. There was a pertition thingy somewhere for Carver.........

Yes, petitions don't really make a difference in some cases. Look at Corrie when they sacked Harry the cleaner. Had over 1000 but he still went. Mark Wingett's not the world's greatest actor but it wouldn't be the same without Jim.

Speaking of petitions, didn't that campaign work for Corrie? The 'free Deirdre' campaign? ;D I've also heard that Marylin is getting the boot, and she was apparently gutted... bless her  |

I read that about Marilyn. Just when Reg finally gets a girlfriend they get rid of her. Poor Reg. Isn't he destined to be happy?
I remember all that Free Deirdre stuff. That got out of hand but she was only planned to be inside a few weeks anyway.

Good question. He may be annoying but he was Des's only friend. Mind you, Des led his astray too! LOL! I like Reg and the way he annoys people but always gets results.
