I quite agree over Matt and Aliona...definitely not there favourites, Pamela however is. ! I think Gavin will be voted off, I'm not sure about the other one. As I don't much like Scott I hope it's him. I think Kara will win, she is fantastic.

The right result I reckon. I knew Pamela would be the first to go ( Even though she was the judges favourite ) I voted for Matt, but I wasn't upset that Kara won. I think Aliona's choreography let him down in the end. Kara and Matt were always the best dancers from week one, so it was only right they were in the final. Best series of SCD for a couple of years.

Totally agree with both the above posts!
Was glad that Pamela went out first - she was good, but not that good.
Agree about the final result too - Matt was our favourite, but Kara probably deserved to win on her sheer grace, so not overly disappointed.
Good series when it came to the general standard of dancing, but so many potentially decent dancers (Jimi Mistry, Tina O'Brien, even Goldie could all have gone further IMO) were knocked out because of the whole Widders debacle, they really do have to come up with a new format next time - it's just not fair to those of us who watch it for the genuine dance content.

There is a rumour in today's paper that this year was Bruce's last. I do hope so . I'd love to watch it next year without cringeing. Kara has torn a ligament in her arm and spent a lot of the time after winning at her local A&E Dept

It seems that Nancy Dolally is coming over all high maintenence already....wants higher shoes and more glitter.
Also they are moaning that the lad from McFly has an unfair advantage as he has done Strictly before ( I dont know where ? )
Saw a picture of them lined up...Edwina Curry looked hideous.

I think he did a one-off, a Christmas or Charity Special - hardly the same thing as a full series!

Ooh there`s posh Nick. Nice - very nice.
Lulu always seemed to be a natural beauty to me. In fact its my opinion she looks better now than she did in the 60`s. Some women are like that.

Lulu admitted ages ago to trying Botox, and I agree that maybe she's had a little other (subtle) work done, but I agree with Wendy - I think she looks fabulous.

I have broken the habit of a lifetime and watched this tonight since I've heard of many of them. LOL! I agree about Russell Grant but he put his all into it - and there was a lot of all! Robbie Savage is the lost Bee Gee. Audley Harrison did well considering.

...and a lot funnier. Also, as Patsy said, he really did put some effort into it.
Holly Valance looks like a finalist already.

Great start to what looks like a good series.
I loved Russell and was quite surprised to see he wasn't that bad. Loved the expression on Audley's face, but I wouldn't like my feet anywhere near his.!
Can't wait to see Nancy and Edwina take to the floor. ;D
Has anyone noticed how similar looking Artem and Robin are, I keep mixing them up.

I know Basil Brush was based on Terry-Thomas but Brucie's strongly resembling him!

Another good show - looks like there won't be a clearcut early leader which will make it far more enjoyable.
Also no complete 'stinkers' this season either, which is even better!

Edwina and Nancy....well worth waiting for ;D I read that the original prop in Nancy's dance was supposed to be a chair, but she threw a strop and insisted on that velvet sofa. That woman is such a diva.
I was impressed with Jason though.
As you say BC, harder to pick a winner.

Nancy will be out soon. She's another of these famous by associations. Whatever happened to REAL stars? Jason was excellent. Edwina Currie looks like Esther Rantzen. I've never heard of Chelsee whatnot but she was very good too. Patsy
