Trouble is with Lesley (and Claudia) they are short and that seems to make their necks look a bit weird because they seem to bend back a bit. Sad really. I loved the enthusiasm and liveliness of Lesley and was sorry she went.

Agree about the heights. You'd think the pairings would have been a bit better. Maybe they should hire a couple of short pros just in case and if they don't have any short stars, leave them in the troupe.

I thought Craig was a bit harsh with Greg. The marking remains weird, either over or under. Ed Balls is still my guilty pleasure.

I'm glad Ed is still in. It's the only way I'll ever vote for him. LOL! He has improved though and it's nice seeing the likes of him who start of crap but get better instead of the Ores and Dannys of this world.

My favourite two are Judge Rinder and Ed. Can't wait to see Ed doing the Salsa to Gangham style Wasn't keen on Laura, don't know why.

Strictly Come Dancing professional Gorka Marquez has been assaulted in the street after filming the show's annual special in Blackpool.
The 26-year-old dancer is reported to have been attacked by a group of youths on Saturday as he walked to a nightclub with colleagues from the BBC series. He is undergoing dental surgery after two of his front teeth in his lower jaw were badly chipped. The BBC said Marquez had been "sadly the victim of an unprovoked incident". A spokesman added: "He will be back in training this week and is looking forward to the group routine next weekend."
How disgusting is that. Poor Gorka. Hope he is ok soon

I saw this on the news .. looks like it was a homphobic attack as they showed you the Flamingo in Blackpool a famous gay club .. I bet the attackers didn't even know who he was

I have to catch up but I did see Ed's on iPlayer just after it finished then gave him my 3 votes. Again, zero praise for anything he and Katya did. I'll be working now each Saturday 8pm-6am so won't be able to watch or vote. Poor Gorka. I agree it was possibly homophobic since it was a gay club. Some people blame it on Brexit yet Alijaz and the other (Pasha?) weren't touched.

The Beeb are doing a Good Riddance You Money Grabbing Git show.
Strictly Len Goodman (w/t)
To bid farewell to the most iconic of Strictly Come Dancing judges, BBC One is giving Head Judge Len Goodman the opportunity to re-live Strictly’s ‘Goodman Years’ from his own unique perspective as he reminisces over the best of a dozen years beneath the Glitter Ball. The one-off special show is a celebration of Strictly Come Dancing itself as seen through the eyes of one of the Strictly greats. Lavishly illustrated with Strictly’s wonderful archive and including interviews with cast, past and present, reminiscing about their highlights of the nation’s most-loved dancing show.

I agree. Even though he is my guilty pleasure watching Strictly, everyone has a shelf life and Ed has reached his. Thinking about the celebrities who take part, I find the ones I remember are not the winners or the runners up...it's the ones who entertain e.g.: Ed, Anne Widdecombe, John Sergeant, Russell Grant etc.

I started my Sat shifts last week but will not bother catching up on iPlayer. The remaining ones bore the arse off me. I used to like Judge Rinder but his fawning drives me nuts. Danny has been perfect since the start so no journey. Ore and Louise are dull. Claudia is good but the height difference makes it hard for her.
Ed was crap last week but then so was JR. They were determined to get Ed out no matter what. Even Darcey stated he should go before the show aired. I noticed during the final dance Len didn't clap for ages. Just looked sour faced. Ed was constantly treated as the joke contestant despite those fantastic routines Katya choreographed. He was still stompy at times but had come on a hell of a lot since the start. They rarely got any praise for that. It's time they were all treated equally. I look forward to what Katya produces next year.
