Patsy-they are great photos!!! My photo was taken in Sept. 2002-that was the last time I was in England. I am hoping to visit again next summer. (I will post a few more photos later) Since it is my first day as a barmaid, I'll make your drink a double!!! ;D I hope you meet a lot of the cast Jez!! When I was there Rita drove right past me-she went by so fast, if I had been standing in the wrong spot I am sure she would have ran me over!!! No way was she going to stop. Mike Baldwin actually went past me 5 times-he stopped the first time. After that I am sure he was thinking, that girl is still here! LOL

I think I'll have to shrink any next time. I didn't expect them to come out so big. Looks like William Russell is trying to get me off him though. LOL! I did hug Brian Capron but the one with Juanita is a better one and I had to nag her to have it taken. I look forward to seeing more of yours, Deborah. You've struck lucky so far. LOL! Maybe Johnny Briggs thought you were a mad fan. If Barbara Knox had run you over, she'd have HAD to talk to you! Ooh, thanks for the double vodka. You know me, new barmaid. I never turn down a free drink. Ask Betty. She could tell yer tales of how I'd drink the place dry given have a chance. Patsy

LOL Deborah! I see what you mean about the Norris one. I love that expression on his face. Pity about the sun being in the wrong direction with Jason. But at least you've laid hands on him. My mum would like to meet Bill Roache but that's highly unlikely unless he ever came down here.

I sent a letter off to Granada today asking for some presigned cards for the ping. We'll see what they send me. Tomorrow I will take a look and see who I can write to next and get some more autographs.

William Russell was Ted Sullivan, Reet's last rich hubby. LOL! I had a tight grip on Mark Eden too! He's sooooo cuddly. ;D Patsy

I have written for the presigned cards before and they have sent them to me. Last year when my cousin was coming over, I had a few relatives write for some. I have an album with the cards in, so any doubles I use for pings. I think I have about 40 spare ones right now-but always like to keep extras around. Most people give the cards back at the end of the ping, but there are a few who like to keep them. Jez-I did get an autographed photo from Bev Callard and Anne Kirkbride. Anne's took a couple of months to arrive.

I got replies from Kate Ford, Helen Worth and Sally Whittaker, they took about 6-8 weeks, I also got a written reply from Sue Nicholls.
Ive written to Barbara Knox 3 times and got nothing. Maybe Anne and Bev will reply but due to workloads are taking longer.

No, and you certainly won't from Barbara, Jezziekins.
They are good then, aren't they, Deborah? I contacted Granada about something once (can't remember what now) by email and I also asked how to just get pre-singed pics. And that nice David Nugent replied, asking for my address and who I wanted. So that was my mum's birthday present sorted! LOL! Silly cow was looking for them the other day. Had everything out of the drawers but forgot they were still in the envelope along with her Amanda Barrie reply I put in with them so it wouldn't get lost.

No, and you certainly won't from Barbara, Jezziekins. Patsy Ive given up getting a reply from Barbara, Pat. I think if she hasnt replied 3 times then she wont again, and as you and Graeme havent had reply's either and have written several times between the 3 of us. I wonder how long Anne and Bev will take, I wrote to KF as well but as ive already had 1 off her I might not get another, id love to have my picture taken with KF, just like you have with William Russell Pat.

Yeah, we can take a hint! LOL!
Oh dear. Could you put up with a pic forever with that grin and crows feets? I've never read her being friendly towards fans like that. Be interesting to see what happens to her after she's left.

According to what Anne said on Paul O'Gradys show..if you're working 12 hours a day,the last thing you want to do is go home and start writing letters..maybe she will do it when she dosen't have such prominent storylines and has more time to herself

Yes I wrote to Audrey (Sue) and got a handwritten reply.
As for the others ive written too, I can understand a huge workload but Barbara and Bev havent had big storylines. Doesnt take long to sign a photo and stick it in an envelope.

I just had to tell everyone I got 2 envelopes from Manchester today. Inside were personalized autographs from Sean and Rosie-2 more for my collection. Now this was fast-as I only mailed my letters on April 1st. So in 10 days, a letter went from Canada to UK, letter was read, card signed, and then mailed back to me!!!!! I am very impressed.

Well done, Deborah! ;D I remember one time I gave the agent address of Jean Marsh to a friend who collects autographs (this was a different time to the one I told you about). Now I'd got a small card saying sorry but she hasn't got photos. But my friend got the same thing written on the back of her letter and returned! She wasn't a happy bunny.

Today I noticed a big brown envelope between the door and screen door. Inside was a cast photo and 24 of the presigned cards. These will be perfect for the ping. This is the first time they have sent me the cast photo-in 4 letters! Yesterday I also got a personalized card from Bill Ward-Charlie. He thanked me very much for my letter.
