Cell Block H had some hard screws in it's time, none worse than Vinegar Vera and The Freak.
Who is the one you love to hate.
I'd have to vote for The Freak.

A very hard contest....had to vote for The Freak but only just. Vera was so complex....used to love the rare episode she would literally let her hair down and you knew she was on the prowel for a man  |

I voted for The Freak too. She was excellent. Much more evil than Vera Bennett. And a good comeuppance as well. Pity there wasn't more episodes showing her inside.

We can just about get five but it has an awful picture depending on weather and if your aerial has a booster so was lucky to see the rest. I was away when they showed the last episode and couldn't wait to get home and see what happened. They should release it on DVD.

i liked vera, this was a cool programme in its time and it did re run a while back but not sure on what channel

I know five had it. They always said they only had the rights to show it once, which is not fair. Especially since they've just got Sunset beach back after protests.

Remember when Meg and Ann were kidnapped? All that time and when they came out their hair was lovely and clean! LOL! Meg was good. I hated Po-Face Powell but did feel sorry for her when her family were blown up.
